Task Force for Music & Arts (TaFMA), which has emerged from the long-lasting and well-established Music Task Force (MTF), has been in action since 2019 with the aim of assisting Naga artists. TaFMA considers art, whether in the form of choirs, singer-songwriters, filmmakers, or others, as one of the soft powers of the Naga People. TaFMA is involved in all the arts, with a particular focus on music, that go beyond the major hubs of Dimapur and Kohima.
To date, TaFMA has participated in multiple festivals, joining hands with partners ranging from AR Rahman's K.M. Conservatory to collaborators from South East Asia, Casio, and other countries in the subcontinent. Although the Hornbill Music Festival is Nagaland's crowning achievement, TaFMA is growing its scope to encompass so much more.
