I am a Buddhist monk/teacher. Dharma is not something I do or engage in as something separate from me. Dharma has been me since very young as far as I can remember. I love Dharma.
SHORT BIO:
My father is a ex-monk from Tibet. My mother is Princess Dewa from Xinjiang who is a direct line from Genghis Khan. I was born in Taiwan, grew up in the States and retuned to Gaden in India in 1987. Had the great honour to be ordained by HH Dalai Lama and to meet my root guru HH Kyabje Zong Rinpoche. Now I reside in Malaysia as spiritual advisor to Kechara House and its thirteen departments.

Im not Buddhist and haven't known a Buddhist in over a decade, but I keep binge watching people arguing over Dorje Shugden.
As a Christian I am very grateful for this teaching. We have the same ritual which is called (very differently 😂) holy confession. On this field we are the same, so I hope that You will not be angry if I use it in my life. May all beings be free of suffering and I hope that we will be able to practice hand in hand on our path to enlightenment!

1.Set up a simple shrine according to your means with a text (lam rim), Buddha and Stupa 2.Min of 8 bowls of water offering 3.Read up on how to do prostrations, mandala offerings and vajrasattva's mantric meditations, guru yoga and refuge recitations with correct comtemplation 4.Read up on much dharma as you can 5.Take simple vows of vegetarinism 6.Be easy on yourself and take vreaks often 7.Read lam rim,wheels of sharp weapons and 50 verses of guru devotion 8.Start on guru yoga and prostrations

Yesrs ago I bought a beautiful blanket, it has a very large picture of a Tibetan Snow Leopard on it. I guess this is for protection by the Snow Lion, someone has slowly sent symbols into my life, without making a big fuse or scene.
I have not heard of this deity before, it is interesting because my Mom's favorite color is red, lol ❤ She always wanted us to have red things, jacket, car, clothes, 😳 I was so tired of red. Funny though, many years ago, I had some spiritual tattoos done, there all in red ♥️ lol 😆 I guess I was being led to something, I just didn't understand it. I am still very much attracted to the Medicine Buddha, and wear a pendant. I am interested in holistic medicinal remedies and organic food, lifestyle, environmental protection, etc. TY for sharing this video, I am learning things, I really needed.
Can you still practice Vajryogini if you have not received the initiation ?
Nope, but you can chant Tara mantra and practice Tara with aspiration to practice Vajrayogini in future. With Tara you can collect enough merit and wisdom to create circumstances that will let you practice Vajrayogini. Two have the same mind, just methods are different. Also, Tara is much more easy to work with. You can begin by setting up an altar for Tara, chanting 21 Praises to Tara.

Just curious as to where you get your information from? Since there is so much misinformation on internet from unqualified teachers. I’m familiar with Tara sadhana as have received teachings and empowerment from Rinpoche (not this one) 😊 . I believe in another video, he explains that you can begin practicing outer sadhana to prepare for highest Tantra, which would be similar to the outer, inner and secret cycles of Tara sadhana . I might have understood wrong so would like a qualified opinion 🪷Thank you

what do we do in a situation where your stepdad does Santeria/witchcraft? I mean, he's part of my family now and he has an altar at his home. I visit my mom and him every now and then, but I know that he has negative spirits around him. honestly, my life has not been the same ever since he came into our lives. I dont seem to have luck at work and struggle financially. I was a catholic but converted to Christianity about a year ago. occult practices are very dangerous.

Milarepas story appeals to me in a very special way. It is the depths to which he sank. In Christianity, saints are pure from the beginning. But what sinner could possibly aspire to that? Before finding the holy dharma, my life was marked by homelessness, drug use, and violence. When I finally surrendered, it seemed impossible that I could ever find happiness after so much loss, such pain as to make one sick. I was holding onto sanity by the skin of my teeth. By the power of great merit accumulated over my past lives, I remembered my Buddha nature, I experienced great clarity and knew it was always there, even at the lowest point of my life. By the power of the glorious dharma I have purified my karma, and want everyone to know, there is no action from which you can not recover. The Buddha nature is stainless and faultless. But all obscurations are products of the self grasping mind. Perceptions are fluid and subject to change. This should be your take away. You have power over your perception. Homage to the Buddha for showing this to me.

Hmm. Luv the Rinpoche! And...I received Vajrayogini from a very high, somewhat famous lama with a huge retreat center etc. He never mentioned how Vajrayogini's mantra will move the winds. I don't think about that obviously doing her mantra. I need to process this :)
