Bro i am an old grad planning to give my step 1 in Dec. You didn't mention First aid !!
Hello! Yes I didn’t on purpose because it is not necessary anymore if you cover those 5 things well, it’s a really good additional resource to help understand a topic if you don’t get it. Goodluck on your upcoming test! If you have any personal questions email me [email protected] or visit thedoctorjourney.com
Does anki really helps in step1?
Yes i really think so especially if you have bad memory like me, it helps keep knowledge in your brain
Really amazing and informative video. Thanks man ❤
Thank you, hope it helps!
What should be done for ethics for step 2?
use this: kzread.info/dash/bejne/YoOntZqBmpPHcbw.html&pp=ygUUZXRoaWMgZGlydHkgbWVkaWNpbmU%3D
can you use the uworld question finder addon with Janki?
I'm going to be honest, I'm not sure about that. if you end up trying do let me know if it works.
which/how many cms forms did you do? necessary to do EM/ neuro?
I did like 4 IM ones, and like 2-3 of surg, OB, and peds. I did not do EM or neuro.

Thank you so much for your content and information. It truly helps a lot, i have a question do you finish the first pass of uworld before focusing more in the NBMEs and the others stuff or not?
no problem! yes I did first pass before seriously doing NBME, but u dont have to if you can afford it time wise then yes do it, otherwise do it as your schedule permits. If you need help with any of that email me or visit thedoctorjourney.com and I'm more than willing to help.
@@kgoswami14 Ok perfect!, Thank youu🤗
Great video! What topics other than 200 points ,do you recommend are a must from AMBOSS?
I would say the divine intervention list of these: kzread.info?event=video_description&redir_token=QUFFLUhqa0IxT0Q3WkE5M1cxSlc2SHhMNXE2a3pSR0VSZ3xBQ3Jtc0tuSEZUZVdXWVpKRFJXWWJwbS1jY3UtUVpjZFVDN3NlM2RDTEhIOGVIWVdYUTF3T0pYMjZFeTZ4OGd0dUg0NWdJdnA3anRsUVZjMk1TZjdJNWRYSngwd2sxcUJVcDZjd2dfVkRzdERUdjBUZ1hSQkxicw&q=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.reddit.com%2Fr%2FStep2%2Fcomments%2F11idsim%2Fmust_listen_divine_intervention_podcasts_all%2F&v=DmVvH3U87Cc

@@kgoswami14 which/how many cms forms did you do? necessary to do EM?
Did you watch any boards and beyond or onlinemeded for your weak topics or gaps in knowledge?? Also, how long did it take you to review an NBME exam? It takes me like 2 days lol
I did not watch B&B or OME, i did just uworld, janki anki, nbme exams, and some amboss to learn and refine my weak contents. I watched random youtube videos on topics i couldnt understand that Divine intervention didnt cover. Ya the exams take a while to review lol, it took me 8 hours of almost constant work on them too finish, try to speed up on answers u are very certain on and spend time on the tricky questions.
Thank you!
No problem, best of luck!
Thank you for this video. It helps a lot 👌👌
No problem, hope it gives motivation!
Hey how do I find the 200 concepts in amboss
so go to amboss. then study plans. then click high yield exam prep, and that should be it!
i swear i can relate to this !
It's a tough journey my friend, we can all thrive through it!
came back to this video after I got crushed by uwsa2 LOL needed this sliver of hope! any words of advice for what you did after UWSA2?
No worries about that, its just one exam! Learn the weak points from it and make sure you understand everything you can from it! I have a video on this exact test dropping tomorow lol
@@kgoswami14 wow perfect timing
So according to you which granola bar is healthy?

where can I download the Janki deck?

@@kgoswami14 thank you!
My bro you suffered a lot 😂
I did lol, it was rough
Do 40 /40 Qs how long did it take for you to review those blocks ? Before you did your 3rd block later that day?
Please reply to this dr Kartik.... i have same query
Hello sorry I did not see this im so sorry! for 40 questions took me an hour to do them and about 45 minutes to correct them. so doing 2 blocks and corrections it took about 3.5 hours total
How many questions did you do from Janki a day?
I did around 500 cards a day
How much of the janki deck did you cover? Do you think it’s better to do it for weak subjects instead of entire deck. Like mine is surgery and Obgyn. I was doing anking, but it got too much doing 700-800 reviews/day and ended up dropping it bec I didn’t have enough time to do practice questions. I’m trying to find a middle ground where I do little bit of Anki and more questions. Any suggestions?
@@deathkissgoodbye hey there so I personally did all of it and barely completed it all before gets, but if u don’t have enough time or want to do less anki yes focus on weaknesses. One thing I did to limit my anki was just do 500 cards max including new so that I still covered all the cards just didn’t spend too much time on them, I hope that helps
Can you speak to what exactly was the formulas you wrote down in the beginning of your test that you think would be helpful?
Yes, so i wrote down the stuff at the end of this video: www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&opi=89978449&url=www.youtube.com/watch%3Fv%3DVMI9UuNqoGI&ved=2ahUKEwjbmIH-spuHAxWKHDQIHc2YCOEQwqsBegQIExAG&usg=AOvVaw28y9-dD_E0tY_43gJcRxMq

Man I wish you had made this video last year. Step 1 was absolutely brutal for me - took me 10 weeks until I was finally confident enough to pass. Not to mention my school is full of insufferable people who talk about how "easy" it is, and how they only studied like 4-5 weeks. I just thank God that it's all behind me now. Still, thanks for making this great content.
Ya man its a hard journey! I know I had to study months to learn how to study properly for it, it was hard! no problem man, Goodluck to you in your medical and social media career!
Thank you for making this video. I also started at a super low score. I just started my second dedicated period and my scores still look like absolute garbage (as you can see on my channel). This video gave me some hope.
im glad to hear that! keep working and adjusting to your weaknesses it will be all good!

You know im here bcoz im panicking😢….nbme 13 i got 213
Ok dont panic, take into account everything that caused to to get that score and how much time you have left. Identify all the questions u got wrong and right and why for every one. Then attack all the weaknesses and supplement in divine intervention to fill in those content gaps cause realistically that score means you probably have some contact gaps. Hey i am from indian and my NEET score was 547 ..... This was my 2 nd attempt.... Can u send me MCAT papers
Hello, what’s you mean by MCAT papers?
Hi! I scored in the 60s on my first step 1 NBME. If possible could you share with me, your last two step 1 NBME scores before taking the big test? I want to meet the criteria for a safe pass, but I also want to ensure that I'm at a good place to begin step 2 prep so I can score high on that too. Kind of getting nervous as I noticed so many people with 250s and 260s on step 2 had high step 1 scores (240s +).
Hello, so I was at 68% nbme 31 and free 120 which is by nbme was 71% and that’s more than safe to pass step 1. I hope that helps, if you have any questions let me know! Also check out thedoctorjourney.com we have some resources that may help, and we have free webinar July 13 6pm PST!
