I love the gun, but for an EDC, I personally prefer the light to not extend past the barrel. Messes up the intended balance, could reduce the life of the light, and extends the front profile in a way that could get it to get caught on things when trying to rebolster (for example). Basically, the point of the c2 is for the compact model and benefits of having a more compact firearm. You essentially extended the front to a near full-sized length. A smaller surefire would not only look better, but you would perform better at nearly every category.
@nickdamz26686 күн бұрын
I agree with all of your points - I have many lights that’ll fit but prefer running this one. In all honesty I don’t really experience significant inhibitions as they are outweighed by my familiarity with the entire setup as it is identical to my XC. Completely agree there are better options in the category of fit and performance for the C2, especially considering it is more compact

My philosophy is that I should be the most competent with my EDC setup, which would require primarily training with it (I’m against the typical situation where one may shoot full-size at the range and carry a rarely used subcompact for example). Since I typically am using an XC with an SRO and X300, I have the most experience with both accessories. It just really pisses me off though because the whole reason why I purchased the MOS of the Glock handgun is so I don't have to deal with sending out a slide and getting the optics cut
@@rodmanbrutus1671 yea the plate doesn’t add much of a gap but direct mount would definitively be better
@@nickdamz2668 I'm keeping the magazine OEM stock the holster that I have ordered for it carries a spare magazine I noticed there's a lot of KZread videos of people really really really wanting to use those shield magazines and I've heard everything under the sun for those things and for me it's just not worth the bullshit hassle just so you can get three extra rounds or maybe it was five extra rounds, I don't remember who cares. 15 rounds is awesome but I don't want any bullshit whatsoever.
@@rodmanbrutus1671 I carry stock mags. Haven’t tried the shield mags but definitely not worth the risk if I’m 1% uncertain that they’re unreliable
My only cons for the Staccato P/XC…with a full build of what I think I need in a gun battle…cost-they gonna take it for awhile and the total carrying weight day to day with that leg iron-it’s pretty uncomfortable for me…my daily/warm weather-spring summer fall is a Springfield Hellcat RDP, shield smsc red dot, 15rnd mag and a streamlight tlr-8, black point tactical leather wing for a holster…winter-my Staccato P with same build
The C2 as well can be a bit bulky for summer carry. I’ll be doing a video on the Sig Legion P365 AXG soon which is a great balance of performance, capacity, and size in my opinion. I’ll have the checkout the Hellcat - I’ve only heard good reviews
I've had my XC for a week now. Luckily i got it blue line but i was about to pay full price. The extra magazines were an awesome touch also. Worth every penny.
Right on!
