  Crystal 9 only spawns if you touch the green rope in the water next to the zipline. This can be done in the kayak, or by hanging off the ledge. Took me ages to figure out why it wasn't there for me.

  Different category: the 1:37:46 run you've seen is for New Game+, which is the same route as Any% but the difference is that New Game+ you can choose the order in which you do the Chapters (4 > 3 > 2 > 5 > 1 for example) and you can skip cutscenes Can't do either of those in Any%

  @@thefictitious949 That's a really good idea and something I could certainly do! Unless something major gets discovered I feel the route is now as optimized as it can be so it'd be fun to explain everything, I can always go over the history of the run/route too Though I'll save all that for the sub 1:50:00 run, as that's my end goal with this category

  7 years ago.... man I'm getting old XD That aside, thank you!! Yeah getting back into speedrunning lately again after a long time away, I wanted to return to Ghoulies! I've actually beaten this PB again getting a 1:50:36, which I'll probably upload tonight or tomorrow, the end goal is sub 1:50:00. Once I get that, I'll move on to the other categories for this game :)

  At the end of Aldwich, around 1h39, you can reach the wagon. In my case, that's impossible due to the fact textures didn't load and I'm stucked by an invisible wall.

  I'm not too knowledgeable on this but that is a consequence of "Flipmapping" which is what we use to get through the ticket barrier without the Ticket. You can fix that by running through the area with the giant drill again, you'll see me do this from 1:37:31

  How is it meant to be done without using the exploit? 🤔 The paddling upp the waterfall I mean. You are supposed to get the crystals during one playthrough to get the achivement, right? So is the glitch/exploit really only way to get them?

  Correct, you cannot get all 9 Crystals without this exploit or glitches it's impossible, most you can get is 8

  ​​@@FilyaTrevelyan It's impossible without Exploit/Glitch, and that made the achievement "Unobtainable" until the patch, now you can just ignore this exploit, get the 8 crystals from this level without any glitch/exploit, and instead obtain the 95th crystal from the bonus level 'All Hallows' at the end and the achievement will pop, or so I've heard. Leaving this video up for anyone who might want to go full completionist, obtaining all 98 crystals in the entire game or anyone who doesn't want to go for all secrets for whatever reason

  Assuming you're referring to 10:53 , Instead of pressing jump yourself stand on the right side and press Forward + Action (Or Forward + Grab if on Modern Controls) and she'll jump up and grab the ledge

  There's a technique that I did with The 95 crystals in the same level to get that achievement that you basically collect 2 crystals. Then hit save game, then hit new game from main menu and then it would keep on adding crystals over and over when you repeat this. I'm wondering if this trick will work on new game plus too lol

  Yeah I heard of that method too, though now with the recent update you can just get the 95th Crystal from All Hallows so I imagine that method will become redundant. Same goes for this too but this could still be useful for anyone who would like to collect all 98 Crystals in the entire game. As for NG+ I'm going to guess no, I originally did an "All Crystals" run on NG+ but despite getting 95 it didn't pop for me.

  If you just want to see the Kayak exploit skip to 8:14 :) The exploit itself it's easy for the Kayak to get stuck and you also need to be quite precise otherwise you won't get pushed up to the top of the waterfall, it's hard to tell exactly where you should aim but being at the angle I am (Almost straight in line with the cliffside, slightly facing left) is the most consistent. Once you're at the right angle you only need to reverse and it will push you up on the top of the waterfall, be careful not to go too far back though once you're up there! On another note: The River Ganges also has this issue with crystals on two paths, but getting all of them in one run is much easier compared to this and I believe there's already videos around showing how to do so. Nonetheless I can always upload a runthrough of All Crystals for that level too should anyone want that

  Yes, I own this game, on my Xbox 360, but some scenes are slow, like the first scene in the game when they are in the flying car and there are cuts when playing with Harry Potter, they are slow. It's a nice game, but it lacks some speed. Is there a solution to the problem or is the only solution to run it normally on the original Xbox?💔🌚
