Lecture notes ✍🏻 1. We start our religion by Saying ALLHAMDULLILLAH 2. Now Passemisim is out of our vocabulary, we are not people of passemism; we are people of Allhamdullillah. People who always look at the brighter side. 3. We always looking at the brighter side. If you dont look at the brighter side you dont understand Allhamdullillah. 4. Every time we start a thing we say; Bismilah Ar Rehman Ar Raheem. Name Ar Rehman is tabark, is full of blessing. 1. Appreciate the things around you. 2. Its normal to thinking about problems. Naturally we think about all the things that are pending, that stresses us out. 3. When you are constantly thinking about your problems mostly unresolved , you are constantly in a bad mood. You are just upset. You are just not happy. And it’s contiguous, when you are sad, everybody around you is sad, if you are happy around you people would be happy. 4. Be nice to people; said Qur’an. About the isrielites; they were in darkness worse situation than any of us, they are stuck in it and cannot come out of it. They are slave people who are controlled by military forces, children being slaughtering routinely, and been in that state for quite sometimes and they cannot find any way to come out of it. They are entirely hopeless to these people what does Allah say to them and if Allah say it to them, why doesn’t he say it to you; he is, you are just now listening LA INSHAKARTUM, LA AZEEDANAKUM ( direct correlation) even if you were to be grateful ( La shakartum; Allah swt is not asking for continuous gratitude, he says show me one instance of gratitude, just show me one instance of gratitude, if you were to be grateful once, ( La azeedanakum) ; (roughly translated as), i swear to it with out a doubt, i will ensure, i promise i promise i promise i will increase you, i will give you more , i will increase you i will increase you, i will increase you, i promise, i swear to it. If you were to show an instance of gratitude. Allah swt usually speaks in Quran in plural for his majesty, unusual cases in which he speaks in singular form; Here Allah swt uses singular form, i will absolutely increase you and increase you in what? Allah swt didnt limited it to anything, he swt didnt reduced it to anything. He swt has lift it open and expanded it. So just be grateful. Allhamdullillah ya Haye Ya Qayyum. Second part of the Ayah WALA INKAFARTUM , INA AZABE LA SHADEED And if you were to be ungrateful, just know that my punishment is super intense even though am not willing to make a direct correlation for you out of my mercy, at least be grateful for that atleast. LAM YAQUL WA INSHAKARTUM LAHO IF YOU GREATFUL for?? parents, grateful to teachers, to friends, and all sources of help and blessings around you, for your wife or your husband, i will increase you. You just need to be a person of appreciation. If we are going through problems, maybe we are not been appreciative enough. Our mindset has to change. I should be grateful, am going through a tough time because Allah swt honoured me to go through this tough time, he didn’t picked somebody else, he thought i was good enough to go through this, i get to join the ranks of prophet saaw. When things get tough, Allah swt wants you to give you extra credit. You are in this situation because Allah swt knows you can handle this position. These are the reasons to go on. Problems are not to push us back, it’s to push us forward subhanAllah. Ustad favt hadith about learning Qur’an; Prophet saaw said; The expert in the Qur’an is ranked amongst the highest, most noble of angels. The one who recite Qur’an and stumbles in it, and its really hard on him, he gets twice the reward. If i am grateful practically means You and i should be greatful,? For things around us for things that we should be grateful for, if you dont have anything else, look at your clothes, if am writing am greatful to Allah for hands working fine, for brain working okay, eyes that can see, nose that let you smell. The price of one blessing is in, no currency can fanthom it, your leg? Are you able to sell them to someone if they pay you millions! Priceless offers; ya Salaam. As long as we are alive, we have things we are greatful for. My health, my deen, somone i love. What if its take. Away and you see around and find nothing to be greatful for! The. You are a victim. Nothing to be increased in. As far as we have things we are greatful for, Allah swt guarantee is he will replenish you in anything you lost anyway. Our religion is 90% attitude. You just have to have the right attitude. Musa as said; if you were ungrateful, opposite of shukar, you and everybody on the earth decided not to be greatful, Then know Allah swt is independent, he doesn’t need you or your prayer. He doesn’t need any of that. For you to say Allhamdullillah. * Gem from Qur’an about gratitude; arabic word for blessing is Naima; * In arabic we have singular, pair, then plural then super awesome plural. We don’t have super awesome plural. Two different plurals for Naima; 1. Ni-a’m - a super plural 2. An-o’m - a weak plural Allah use once use in Quran weak plural and once Strong plural. Allah swt said about Ibrahim AS; Shakiral le An-u’m e he. ( Ibrahim was grateful for a few favours of Allah) ------( weak plural) less then 10 or easily countable. If you were to count singular favor of Allah swt you wont be able to do that, the entire humanity most people cant even come up with full gratitude for one favour, so ibrahim AS pulled of a few( ya salaam, a compliment, an honour given to Ibrahim AS). ( weak plural been used now the strong plural) WA ASBAGHA ALAIEKUM NAIMAHO ZAHIRATAN WA BATINA Allah swt unleashed his uncountable, excessive favour unto you the ones you can see and the ones you cant see, obvious and hidden. So one of the best human being ever lived thank Allah swt for a few blessings, Allah swt showered you with uncountable favours. We cannot even fully grasp when he gives us one favour. How many ways does one favour of Allah swt is blessing us. Take a page and start writing your blessings and your problems and see for yourself. You can JazakAllah o khair Ustadh numan 🫶🏻

Salam but I disagree, I don’t think it’s about entitlement, I think it’s just having strong faith in Allah and believing in his powers and capabilities. One of the 99 names of Allah is Al-Mujeeb which means that He is very close to His believers and readily available to hear and answer the supplications of those who ask. I believe in this so I constantly make dua and pray expecting that Allah will accept my dua. So I don’t think you can really call it “entitlement”, we know Allah is not a “genie in a bottle “ but he is is al-mujib who is always ready to listen and answer to his servant.
