  Nice van Same as mine ex mod 66000km and never seen a welder.mines got a 2.5 td in it now and is a camper van but still retains a lot of the ambulance stuff in the back.nice to see what it would have once looked like.

  When you say it has a 2.5 in it now did you swap out the pinto for a diesel? I've got one of these with a pinto in it. Want to put a 2.5di but not sure where to go and how much it'll cost.

  One previous owner and only 60k miles. Unfortunately I don't think we'll have the time to put into this vehicle hence the quick walk around for a new potential owner

  Mum had the 2005 Super custom... right up to the moment when an "Industrial quality" vehicle broke its CAM????? when driven by an 80+yo at no more than 85kph round the country... Then when we removed the motor we discovered the DA's that make these units use yellow sponge (like you use to wash your car with) as sound dampening inside the firewall, so any moisture collects in the sponge and rots the firewall away (so the body was a write off)... And even if the body could be rebuilt... we discovered when the cam goes on one of these... you need to replace the entire head... and wait for it... There are NO heads for these, as they all have been breaking their cams. I have an expensive non mobile caravan/shed in my back yard now!. sigh.
