La otra vez me estaba acordando de ese partido,cuando eso yo era un pibe. Hasta ahora no sè por que se armó el bolonqui. Lo que me acuerdo fue que Carlos Goyèn (uruguayo y arquero del bicho) fue el que mas ligó departe de la cana uruguaya.

Qué maravilla de documento gráfico. Y cuanta razón tenía y qué sinceridad la del labrador que él la única política que entendía era la de segar hierba para la vaquita. Jóvenes... aunque no lo crean. .. ANTES los niños jugábamos en la vereda en barra y tranquilos. A tomar la merienda y a salir a jugar!. Como ven hubo una triste involución. Ahora en vez de sociabilizar y jugar en la vereda lo hacen por Whatsapp y juegos en línea! Una pena!

Ali going up and down the gears, taking his time. ometimes on the front foot, other times counterpunching. Comfortably taking the German and European HW champion apart. The opponent appears to know what is happening, but is powerless to prevent the inevitable. It's amazing that although Ali fought elite pro boxers, he was alone, in a class above them.

Ali hated this guy even though he seemed friendly. Why. Ali's big faults are punching whilst retreating which detracts from the power of the blow and covering up blindly and holding when attacked which made him appear weak.

At the 5 second mark, Ali appears genuinely frightened of Mildenberger! And honestly, I can't say I blame him! 😂 But as early as the 2nd round, we all knew Mildenberger didn't stand a chance. Mildenberger couldn't even hit Ali and we'd seen that since the beginning of the fight! Then, by the end of round 2, Mildenberger was hardly even an opponent anymore, but instead had become Ali's punching bag! No competition. The only thing I'll add is this: This fight took place in 1966, which was shortly before Ali was banned from the ring by the Boxing Commission, due to his draft dodging to get out of going to Vietnam. In 1966 Ali was in his prime, and his best boxing form of his entire boxing career.

no se tomaba mucho mate en la calle , en esa época. Los termos si no lo cuidabas se rompía la botella de vidrio y había que comprar el repuesto que no había en muchos lados y la yerba se compraba suelta

For all his brashness he was usually sportsman like in the ring. Shaking opponents hands at the beginning and end or embracing them. He also didn’t try to knock ✊🏾 a guy all the way out.

Have been watching some very early Ali, Olympics, first fights. They said Joe Louis could knock a guy out with a six inch punch. I think Ali had this ability. After he Tko's some guys, they are falling all over the ring trying to recover.
