The weekend was a soundtrack to my debauchery around that error for sure. Nothing like listening to birds part two at 2 AM on some good shit after bad sexual choices.

I was introduced to The Weeknd and his song ‘Wicked Games’. It played on the radio somehow in central Mississippi. I was immediately hooked. I found the trilogy album and listen to it nonstop and I thought that would be it from him. Fast forward to 2013-14 and I just moved to Tuscaloosa, AL. One of the biggest college towns in the nation and I’m 23 and still very vulnerable. I found out that The Weeknd was releasing Kissland and I was hyped… little did I know how that album changed my life. When the album came out, I also listened to it non stop but no one I knew really didn’t get why I was so big on Abel. It shaped who I am today and I’m proud of that. I even got his XO logo tattooed on me in green! Every time I hear a specific song on the album I get transported back to that time when I first listen it the first time.

ALSO UGLY CHINESE NO IN ANY GENERATION. PAST PRESENT COULD BEAT STYLE. HIM AND AND BOWIE HAS THE HOGHEST VOICE IVE EVER HEARD. ALSO CAN EXPLAIN HOW SPEARS CAN BE A JUDGE ON THE X FACTOR WHEN SHE CANNOT EVEN SING.HARRY STYLES IS THE PRINCE OF POP AND PEOPLE WITHOUT A BRAIN SHOULD BE ABLE TO GET SOME BAINS TRANSPLANT IN A CLINIC OF SOME KIND.

No one from this generation or past generation can sing like harry styles does. ONLY BOWIE COULD. SO A GREAT WELCOME TO OUR BEAUTIFUL PRINCE OF POP. HE IS THE FUTURE . MICHAEL. BRITNEY AND MADONNA ARE SADLY THE PAST. NO ONE IDENTIFIES WITH THEM TODAY. CONCENTRATING ON DANCING DOES NOT MAKE YOU A SINGER. PEOPLE WILL CHECK YOUR LEGACY AND THEY WILL SEE THAT YOU CAN'T EVEN SING AND YOU WILL BECOME THE JOKE OF EVERYONE LIKE SPEARS. HAVE ANICE DAY AND NO HATE.

The only thing the Weeknd reminds me of Michael Jackson is his voice. I get so confused when Weeknd's fans comparing him to MJ. There is no comparison at all. His stage prescence isn't that epic. If I saw him at the mall I wouldn't be staring at him or start to faint. If anything the Weeknd reminds me of Prince. I think the only entertainers that reminds me of Michael Jackson both personal level and professional level are Beyonce, Chris Brown, and Justin Bieber. I see these three names stays in media unlike The Weeknd. Beyonce and her fanbase reminds me of Michael's. While both Brown and Bieber personal lives reminds me of Michael's as in being controversial while growing up in the spotlight.

Hey man, this is an incredible and thought provoking video. Well done. Do you have any tips on how to research and prepare a video like this? I have always wanted to make critical analysis videos of this type, but not sure where to start. I appreciate all of the clear hard work and passion you put into these videos, thank you for your work!!

I think a really important part to understand this album fully is to think of the Blinding Lights - In Your Eyes - Save Your Tears as a hallucination/dream/flashback sequence after he OD's at the end of Faith. Blinding Lights is him after the high of the drugs realizing that he really needs his girl, In Your Eyes is a flashback to when his girl cheated on him in Escape From LA (the first verse of escape from la is basically him mocking the girl when she says he's the only one she needs but she actually cheated on him, and then the last section is him getting revenge, and heartless is him high on drugs convincing himself that he doesnt need anyone.) Then Save Your Tears is a dream, when he imagines seeing his girl a while after they break up, and realises he made mistakes and he wants to be taken back. (which he learns is impossible in the next two tracks.)

Hardest to love sticks to me with me hits different I can relate to the lyrics this girl I like cares about me but deep down I know she deserves better,I'm not even stable mentally.I'm nearly crying just realising I failed her as a man to love hell even to care about, and I bet if she did like me she doesn't anymore.I think she deserves better anyway.

Here we are days before we hear from Abel hoping my boys return. I’d love to see your thoughts on The Divine Comedy and how it inspired Abel’s current trilogy. The small dive I did made me instantly think of OTP. Hope y’all are living good and here’s hoping for a return soon🫡

It's like the soul of MJ split into different entertainers: JT, Bruno, Weeknd, CB...they all have things they can do really well, yet overall, none of them is on the same level as MJ. The man who wrote beat it, billie jean, the man who made Thriller, the man who invented moonwalk, and the level of fame he has! I'm from China and... my grandma can't even read Chinese yet she knows about Michael and refers to him as the man who can do the magical dance move on tv😂
