    Can these be installed on hollow doors?

    They’re designed for solid core doors and fire doors for emergency exits. They would not work well on hollow corridor. I hope this helps you and if you can leave me a thumbs up.

  • @buildingwithpapa

    Thank you for your question. The battery was already installed inside the trailer, but it only operated the lights but was not being charged so I had to run the wire to the battery so that it would be charged off the seven pin. I hope you like the video and if you can leave me a thumbs up.

    Great video. Too bad those adapters don't come with the generators. Just another way to squeeze another $70 out of us.

  • @buildingwithpapa
    @buildingwithpapa17 күн бұрын

    Yes, it’s all about the money.

  • @pstoneking3418
    @pstoneking341817 күн бұрын

    It seems ecoflow always has ways to get extra money from of us for adapters we need but aren't included with their units. That's another $70 for the adapter to connect the pro to the generator. You can cgarge from the generators AC Outlet but without all the generators smart features that monitors the battery level. Plus, using the included cable, you are charging with DC to DC, which is more efficient. Actually, ecoflow could have a smart generator connector built into the pro instead of using one of the extra battery port.

  • @buildingwithpapa
    @buildingwithpapa17 күн бұрын

    Yes, I was stunned when I realized the cable would not connect to my Delta Pro. It doesn’t make any sense why they would sell you a generator that works with the Delta pro and give you a cable that won’t connect to it that you have to buy an adapter and then the other thing is the cables short if you have your batteries at one end of the garage and you wanna put your generator outside the garage the cables not long enough, I’m glad you enjoyed the video and if you can leave me a thumbs up.

    Great start to the daily video goal. Look forward to whatever you decide to post. If you're taking requests, I'm having issue with my Dolphin again...starts and stops...won't climb walls even with new rings...passes the "turn it over on it's back" self test just fine. I rewatched the Dolphin videos you posted prior, but if you have any advice on Dolphin pool cleaners, and/or a good replacement to consider, I would appreciate it. Regardless, I love all your vids. Keep up the great work!

    After only 2 years, I need to replace the cable!?! Amazon reviews state you one you linked to does not have FLOATS and their machine flips on its back. Reviews also state: Update after one year: - cable deteriorated such that the rubber jacket/coating rubs off by hand (and leaves a mess all over the pool) - a kink developed in the middle (anti-kink swivel eh???) such that the rubber jacket is compromised and exposed the internal wires - the buoyancy issues below persisted - the unit will no longer run A comment below states you do NOT have to buy the entire cord, you can just buy a replacement swivel cable? 🤷‍♀️ Will NEVER purchase Maytronic products again. For the price, I have had to replace the far too many parts on this machine. You cannot find good quality in products anymore.

  • @buildingwithpapa
    @buildingwithpapa25 күн бұрын

    Thank you for your comment. I showed to take the floats off my existing cable and put it on the new cable. I also show how to diagnose it whether it is the cable or not so you’re not replacing all the parts the moving parts that deteriorate just because I had them out, I hope this helps you and if you can leave me a thumbs up.

    Still does not work! Replaced all components : guide wheels, pulley wheels, treads, and new wire cable. Motor engages and starts. But device fails to move through a cleaning cycle. Fan is spinning/water is moving but device will not crawl. :( Alot of money to purchase and now repair parts cost. Only 3 years old.

    Please, How did you Find this Leak? Its Shocking How The Drywall is not even Wet. So Trying To Find it With Traditional Method Of Using Moisture Meter is not going to work/find it. So this Is Scary, Because I Have This Problem too. I Smell Mold/Mildew In My House, But I Can't Find it. Its Been Making Me Sick For Years Now. I have Had Numerous Mold Inspectors Come Out, But None of them can Find anything. I Have Scoped The Whole House Inch By Inch With Moisture Meter and Infrared Camera, Yet Can't find/come up with anything. This could Be My Problem, Because I Keep Hearing Some Type Of Tank Running/Filling up Or As if My Water Heater Pump Keeps Running even though there's nobody in the house Using Water.. So Apparently the Water is Probably Being Lost Somewhere/Somehow.. I Wonder how you were able to Locate this Leak Please.??

    I made the mistake of following your instructions and checking continuity between source and unit, not realiziNg that the swivel also has contacts. The swivel cable has spring loaded pins and if the springs fail, there is no contact. A replacement swivel cable costs a fraction of the entire cable.

  • @buildingwithpapa
    @buildingwithpapaАй бұрын

    Sorry to hear that, but I did not have a swivel cable. Mine was stationary with the swivel, you would have to disconnect that part and then do your continuity test sorry for the confusion.
