Je comprends, c'est dur. Merci Maria
Oh dear.... 😮😢💔
Hi Lesley, it was terribly sad it was a baby's grave but it was more about the parents love for their child and how beautiful and elaborate the memorial was
A customer of mine 30 years ago served on HMS Hood in 1937. There was a photo taken from a small sightseeing boat looking at her from the port stern quarter (taken illicitly by his then newly wed wife) hanging in their hallway.
Thats great, if its still about it will be anothe rare photo of hms hood
@@HistoryMemorialandcrime He died shortly after I first met him - a year or 2 if I remember right. Last time I saw her was around about 25 years ago - and she was in her mid 80's then. What happened to the photo I have no way of knowing.
@@vipertwenty249 Oh what a shame, i do hope the family kept the photo be great if it found its way to a public domain, so many photos of historic interest dont make it to public viewing.
Wow i would of though Florence Nightingale would of been buried in Westminster Abbey, who would of thought she is in a little village tucked out the way
Very humble lady, she wanted no recognition at all, never liked the limelight but needed to promote her cause and didnt she do a good job
Wow, i never heard of this guy but how interesting, loved the propeller memorial, your right it was a nice touch
I just discovered i really like these grave walk videos, so calming and on this one i loved the music, very relaxing

I use to love watching benny hill but never knew his song was real places, this is fascinating

Yes the front has changed but the inside will be the same, nice that they named the house in honour of him
I know there is so much more to this story, you did well getting what you did in one minute
Your right, thear is a mountain of stuff to tell about Frederick,
That was so sad, poor man😢
Its hard researching this stuff as you get to know them, he had quite a difficult life but got on with it
Less than 10 minutes after the British opened fire, a shell from Bismarck struck Hood near her aft ammunition magazines. Soon afterwards, Hood exploded and sank within three minutes, with the loss of all but three of her crew. Prince of Wales continued to exchange fire with Bismarck but suffered serious malfunctions in her main armament. The British battleship had only been completed in late March 1941, and used new quadruple gun turrets that were unreliable. Prince of Wales soon broke off the engagement.[1] The battle was a tactical victory for the Germans, but its impact was short-lived. The damage done to Bismarck's forward fuel tanks forced the abandonment of the breakout and an attempt to escape to dry dock facilities in occupied France, producing an operational victory for the British.[1] Incensed by the loss of Hood, a large British force pursued Bismarck, resulting in her loss three days later. On the morning of May 27 the King George V and the Rodney, in an hour-long attack, incapacitated the Bismarck, and an hour and a half later it sank after being hit by three torpedoes from the cruiser Dorsetshire.
Una Stubbs - awsum talunt and buty.
She was in quite a few things and great in them all
It wasn't Renowned, it was an Admiral.
Not sure what you mean there
Time 8:00 seconds. It was not a Renown, it was the only Admiral class built.
@@givenfirstnamefamilyfirstn3935 says it was renowned for its fire power, as in it was well known for its fire power
@@HistoryMemorialandcrime Repulse was a Renown class battlecruiser.
Im not sire you understand, the word renowned wasnt refuring to a class the word renowned was being used as a discretion, "renowned" , as in "well known for" she was renowned for her fire power or she was well known for her fire power
Very informative well made to, interesting to watch
Exelent full video was great
This channel never disappointes
Well put together as alway by this channel
Very interesting, as was the full video, very well made
The full video was amazing
This is great
Love this, so interesting
She was aged just eight and brutally killed
The story's so gruesome very disgusting too.
I thought the Hood had 11 invh not 15 inch guns. That would have made her a battleship rather than a battle cruiser.
All a can say is, The HMS Hood carried the mighty BL 15-inch Mk I naval guns as its main armament when it sank in 1941 [Wikipedia HMS Hood]. These guns were truly massive for their time.
Yeah I saw the same thing on Wiki😊
@mrider100 i did cross reference it with other sites and they said the same, but it was converted from a battleship to a battlecruser i beleve
I disagree with the idea of the HMS Hood being a symbol of naval power....it was more of a political symbol of Britain's power
Alas, can only use what is read in documents, in my reaseach it states Naval power but thank you for your opinion 😊
@@HistoryMemorialandcrime I know that frustration....but I ask you NOT to disregard the historical FACTS....all the British battlecruisers that were destroyed by the Germans during the Battle of Jutland, 1916 AND US General Billy Mitchell sunk a captured German battleship in the 1920s all by exactly same method crashing an artillery shell OR an ariel bomb throw the wooden decks of the targeted battleship/ battlecruiser into the ship's interior where the ship's supply of artillery shells are stored thus bypassing the ship's armour belt that encircles the entire ship super structure of the ship .... that's what happened to the USS Arizona, 1941 AND the USS Maine, 1898..... meaning the explosion that destroyed those ships came from WITHIN the ships by triggering the ship's supply of artillery shells.
The wooden deck was above the armored deck. Even the Bismarck had a wooden deck.
„BISMARCK IN MOTION, KING OF THE OCEAN HE WAS MADE TO RULE THE WAVES ACROSS THE SEVEN SEAS" -Joakim
Bismarck was the biggest German ship and sank the biggest British ship but then got sunk her self the very next day
Johnny Horton taught me this story when I was very young. Of over 1400 men on board, there were only three survivors
Thats right, you can watch full video, has some of the battle on film and the exploration that sank her

There are some weird and frightening people on this You Tube.
And im replying to your 3rd comment as i have to reply to all comments, as you think hearts are weird for stupid comments. i thought I'd reply with text

Her mum didn’t protect her at all. What mother allows a strange man to live in the same house as her 12 yr old girl?? It’s like allowing your baby to play on a motorway!!!
Iv had many opinions on this but the truth is he was a family friend, they never knew he was like that, but thats just assumed that they never knew he was like that, but he wasnt a stranger.
thumbs up --would love to hear the story of the key
