  This reminded me of one of my hospital stories. Basically when I was 11 I went into organ failure and was put on life support and I was at CHOP which is a children’s hospital. At the hospital they have a family center that has rooms for parents of kids in the ICU so that way they have a place to sleep on hospital grounds, similar to a Ronald McDonald house. Also at the family center they have buckets of donated toys that parents can take and bring to their children and they also have a wide selection of donated children’s movies that parents can borrow for their child to watch. Well one of the companies that donates toys is a company that manufactures slinkies and they donated a whole bunch of them and hospitals are pretty boring so one early morning my parents got bored and couldn’t sleep so they got some slinkies from the family center and took them to the hospital lobby which has huge fancy stairs and they ran the slinkies down the stairs to pass the time and hospital security saw this and just cheered them on and that’s a hospital story they told me after I recovered. I’m 18 now and this has stuck with me just as well as my life support complications lol
