Cool stuff man. Love the idea of shrimp with the gulper, and do you think having shrimp with the wolf fish would produce the same results? I have monstera in my tank as well, and it out competes the aquatic plants for nutrients it seems.

Hi! My wolf used to live with my shrimps in the same setup as my gulper. It depends on the wolf tho. I have a friend that had one and it killed everything.

i have converted my sump to a barrel filter with just K1. sump worked well, i just needed the tank to house another fish

Cut the bottom off the water bottle stuff it and small powerhead fits perfect on water bottle. I like using 1 liter coke bottles . I like the soldering iron trick. I always just cut the bottom off but i really like the clean look u got going on there.

Definitely a subscriber! Thanks for this, I have 5 bichirs, and 2 ropes co existing great, I have two platinum babies waiting to be released when older. Can’t wait for that day! I too have lost a del from loose lids, I like to buy two of each for a “pair” but my other del lost his partner 😢 I don’t take lid locking down lightly now! I’m trying to soften my water but always seems to be maxed out general hardness.. I use almond leaves, some moss stuff you add to canister filters. I have had spider wood galore and I’ve done water changes with 40-50% water changed and then added 30-40gs of distilled water! Which I tested and was 100% completely soft water. Tested it the main tank and it still was showing hardest on the chart. I don’t get it.. I am trying very hard to soften my water but can’t seem to change it, I use prime chemicals, I was using the “API”? brand I think it’s called but it wasn’t doing it either! Idk anyways great video and absolutely beautiful specimens 😍

I just got one bryan but his Jaws abit wrong I think he's got something up coz he ate a dead yo yo loach but 24 hrs was sick since he's trying to pick up the food but can't or seems like he can't open his mouth wide enough one side of the Jaws bigger than other side its got a black round mark on it to thee big side so not sure what's up just coat £180 too most I've ever paid 4 one the waters fine so I'm confused

For anyone eho wants it, here's my research and experience 1) it is very sensitive, and should be kept in schools of more than 6 2) males fight and may result in killing. So try to get females and 1 male 3) these fish require little to no flow , if you have medium to high water flow then they won't survive. 4) they tend to be at the surface , avoid keeping them with guppies and mollies or other livebearers at all cost , keep them with smaller tetras or rasboras . They are insanely hard to take care of , small mistakes will lead to death . Now good luck trying to keep them alive , and ping this so people can know
