This video is a gem 💎❤ 7 years later ( 1950 October ) china ( PLA) invaded the Tibet, Dalai lama and his people were forced to exiled to India and Nepal.over 2 million Tibetans have died as a result of the Chinese occupation. Some 90,000 Tibetans and 2000 Chinese government troops were killed. Some 170,000 Tibetans fled as refugees to India, Nepal and Bhutan. Nepal king late Mahendra welcomed the refugees from Tibet and allowed to setup 7 different refugees camp sites across the country under the guidance of UN, some of the camp are still stand in Nepal. this video only shows the Lama and nobles , how about other ordinary ppl look like ， they are walking with leg cuffs, their children born to be slave, they can be trade with pig and barley, nobles ride them for short distance instead using a horse, ask the old Tibetans is this true ? When Dalai Lama talking about democracy and human right , the biggest joke ever !!! The Chinese get a lot of critisism for their actions in Tibet but when you see how the country has developed since this movie, you can see the lot of your average Tibetan has improved considerably. I think the latest thinking from its government in exile is accepting Tibet as part of China as a semi autonomous region. Maybe one day that'll happen and the Dalai lama can go home.

Inless you believe in trickle down theory its just a change of ruling elite. Countries like Tibet, Bolivia or Venezuela are cursed with great wealth in natural resources that more powerful countries will steal..

If Tibet is a part of china coz of its physical development, tell me the answers. Is India, pakistan, Hong Kong part of British? Coz these countries were developed compare to their past during the British rule… many of european were developed when they were under Russian rule. None of the countries become part of a country coz of the development made by outside ruling country.
Exiled Tibetan government never said Tibet is part of china. If they said so, then no point of staying in India, china will welcome them. The exiled Tibetan government has mentioned that Tibet is under china since they occupied our country. They said in the past history, Tibet was an independent country n was never a part of china or any other country. This is to clear ur misinformation.

For people who claim Tibet is not part of China, simple Google the map of Qing China, Tibet is part of China far before US exist as a country, and for your record, Dalai Lama attended the National Congress meeting in 1954 as the representative of Tibet province , Dalai Lama is definitely not that religious , the rule for monks are pure spirit , no desire , Dalai Lama crying around for loss his power over Tibet makes him not a monk any more , he was simply taking advantage during ww2 when the whole country was struggling fight with Japanese, and he think he can split Tibet from China and make himself a King, Dalai Lama was the biggest slave owner and land owner in Tibet , by 1950 the whole population of Tibetan was 1.05 million, 5% of them are Lama and noble , rest of the population serve them as slave and they can be trade as livestock , CCP end the serfdom system and set land reform policy in Tibet to make all Tibetan can own properties and not live like a livestock, so the slave owners run away from Tibet, now they are the are the main members of the oversea anti China organization
