Coarse language is a sign of low class. To Bec kham Posh, mind your vocabulary. In Will Ferrell movies, coarse language seems apropo because he oft plays the fool, the unwise. Now in the movie, Good Will Hunting, the protagonist played by Matt Damon, oft uses coarse language, but he is playing a character who has grown up in a low class environment, but ultimately chooses to better himself, to evolve, and this quest to evolve, to become posh, is mirrored in his use of language.
