    Planet of the apes has best cgi animation and feels so real practically and emotionally then any other cg character animation

    Surely you guys could have a done a better job with this movie, if only marvel gave you more time. Some very rushed-looking CGI environments… all that money they put into it and it still looks like such a cheap ass movie

    This is how I feel the VFX breakdown should be like. The artists actually explaining their process when showing us the breakdown instead of just showing before and after shots.

    vfx artists should be paid a baseline of at minimum double the actors pay in these scenarios... what is the actor bringing to the table here other than angry looks and such, not saying they are bad but rather that the vfx artists are spending hours and hours to make it look good while the actors just look angrily toward a certain direction or point their fists out and call it a day

    Ironically, there's always so much on-screen (cgi) noise that we rarely if ever get to fully appreciate the work that is put into these action scenes. Great comicbook scene if you pause at 1:10 though.
