Fucking 8 pin! I have 3 299 rings because of that fucking pin! I swear it's the ranks way of flipping you off when you leave a pocket 8 or 9! I have 3 8 pin and 2 9 pin 299s. I would rather beak it for a 297 or 298 (which I've done a few times too LoL). For some reason those aren't as painful as the 299s.

Too bad you guys weren't at our league tonight. We could have used the commentary. Dude on our right had the front ten then balked *two* separate times on the 11th right at the foul line. Just when people thought it couldn't get any stranger he walks off without saying a word and goes to the men's room for about 5 minutes. Upon his return he lucks out and trips the 4 pin forward for 11 in a row before finally throwing an honest strike in the 12th for the 300. The most bizarre 300 I've seen. Even stranger than the guy I know who had the sweep drop and ended up having to throw 13 shots for a 300. Also, if Dan's Ebay Brunswick Crown compound would have arrived on time he likely carries that 10.

i just went bowling at a local bar, the lanes were actually pretty cool, they were 11 feet shorter then regulation lanes (due to it being in the basement of a small bar lol), forgot how much it hurts the fingers after a while lol

That is a classic bowling alley. It has been over forty years since I bowled at an alley with above lane ball returns. The facade above the lanes is really old school too. It reminds me of a street in Denver which has leftover restaurants from chains that disappeared decades ago.
