Where’s the water going to come from to support this growth?
Hello MaryAnne! This is a great question! Many cities use multiple sources for water: first thing to do is to build rainwater catchment systems in the form of silos and rain towers to harvest the rainwater and store it. Second source is drilling for water in the form of wells. The third medium of storage is large lakes and reservoirs to store water. Water is the most expensive part of land development and requires a lot of money from developers in the city to harvest, store, filter, and recirculate. We will do some videos on this with our friend Luke Caraway from Viewpoint Engineering and talk more about Water soon!
@@austincitybrothers I am so grateful you’re thinking long-term, and the idea of rainwater collection doesn’t seem to be talked about publicly, very much anyway. Neither is gray water for obvious reasons, but to quell that very reasonable insecurity it does seem a multi-solution necessity- and business+civic+community engagement, so I’m interested in your video and will share it too.
I’m a local delivery driver for middle up class neighborhoods . And i can tell you. In boulding. Zilker area there is a ton of vacant homes. Sometimes you can find up to 6 modern houses per street. completely empty. 😮

Hey Guys, Great video! I recently learned that the Avery Center in Round Rock has a tax rate of 1.7540%. I'm curious as to why this community isn't included in your list of Top 5 Lowest Tax Rate Neighborhoods in Austin, TX.
Hey Sundar, Great question! Even though Avery Centre is a great community, but the homes are a different type compared to what the audience of the channel is interested in. In this video, we tried to mention the communities that is most relevant to the audience.

True but then you have to pay PMI insurance to the bank which is $350 until you reach the 20% mark… if you can pay the 20% in the beginning you’ll save yourself a lot of headaches!!
That is correct! Though we have some lenders that could lend up to 100% with no mortgage insurance. (You have to fall into their criteria, though)
