    Hey again, Any idea why I can't see the speed sensor (FS-CPD01 Magnetic)? I can see it when I use the 4-channel receiver, but unfortunately not on my 8-channel model you discussed in your video. Yes, I have the same Noble NB4 you have and followed your instructions, including the update, and successfully bind it. Thanks, Udi

  • @metalgearrc2166
    @metalgearrc2166Ай бұрын

    Being it's a Traxxas RC you will have to, at most, the battery connecter. I do know some of the Hobbywing ESCs come with the standard motor connecters and most of the newer ones have the XT60 connecter on the input (battery side). So if you get the right one, all you would need to do is get the plug converter from the traxxas to XT60 and/or update batteries as needed with XT60s. Like this, amzn.to/3KA14Ya

    I'm not using any. I custom-made the wheels in CAD and printed them out to fit the three screw hubs on the axles. I have some spacers on the front axle to widen the front tires to match the back tires.

  • @metalgearrc2166
    @metalgearrc21662 ай бұрын

    I do get where you are coming from. You also have to remember some people do love their brushed motors. On the other hand what if a 540 motor is too big for your rig and you want the functionality of a high-end crawler??? The 1080 G2 is a sweet deal then! Now, I do have and love the Fusion SE, and boy does it outperform most brushed motors. It also has a lot of torque for a 540 motor and may be too much for some RC models. So, it may be good for some RCs but not all of them. Think of it this way, it's better to have more options than to have very little options at all.

    I would have to agree with you that yes, when rock crawling you want it to be a smooth and quick operation between Forwards and Reverse. But for the people that want true scale driving will love the Real Car Mode. Like when I was at USTE, I had it in my truck with the real car mode on. I had a blast with it on the trails but when I'm rock crawling it's a pain in the but to keep switching between Drive and Reverse.

    One suggestion. Coat your rings, shaft and the recessed area where the rings go with shock oil first. This will lubricate and further reduce chance of tearing, but it also seals better. Team Associated also makes a product, green slime, specifically for this.
