Hi ISTQB is the board in this website you will exam details, syllabus and mock papers but to enrol and take the exam you need to reach country specific member board which in case of India is Indian Testing board. People from different countries go to their respective country boards. Hope that clarifies.

Stucked with this question (if anyone can explain, please) Question: Which is the objective of debugging? 1. To find the root cause 2. To reproduce the failure 3. To remove the fault 4. Analyzing the fault Possible answers: A. 1,2,3 & 4 B. 2,3 & 4 C. 1,2 & 4 D. 1,3 & 4 i chose D while the right choice (as it seems) is A. As long as i know, reproducing the failure is a process of debugging not an objective. What am i missing? Many thanks in advance to anyone who can explain.

Hi Seems like you are new to ISTQB You have to take ISTQB Foundation level first and you can enrol for the exam on istqb.in the website of Indian Testing Board.

Hi sir, am I wrong in saying testing get tougher/hard in the lower layer but not in the high layer? As there's no more tests to be run earlier
No you are right. Unit & integration levels need more effort in search of early defect detection but later at system level it will about running high level tests and its easier.

@@SwatiSingh-oi7gd Thank you. yes only one set of sample exam questions on the ISTQB site. But I also looked at sample exam from ASTQB version and also found a set of questions from UK based version. Although, I should mention that the ISTQB structure a bit different, you get more scenario based question in ISTQB I think. The questions I got in the actual exam had a bit of similar type of questions from both ISTQB and ASTQB versions. For example, the questions related to chapter 7 (skills assessment spreadsheet) were similar to the questions I found in ASTQB version. You can google and find a few sites that have sample questions, but be careful as some may have incorrect questions/answers. As long as you understand the concepts and learn how to apply the knowledge on the questions, you should be fine. All the best.

Hi sir I've been following you from last year, my concern with istqb is the long questions whereby you end up loosing focus and eventually choose wrong as we know the options are a lil bit tricky. How do I tackle this. Thanks
Skip them initially and answer the straight forward first. Then deal with the long ones. For the long ones start capturing the important keywords as you read and then collate them answer the questions. Never waste your precious reading the passage again and again rather collect important keyword as you read. This will help you to save your time and be precise.

Congratulations on the success for Foundation. For Test Manager v3.0 is still not available for exams. If you are planning to appear within 6 months then go for v2 if later than that you plan for v3

Thank you for the information! I am looking forward to this course. A note about the exam itself: I live in Hungary and recently took the 3.1 (!) exam. Unfortunately we had several questions with 5 options, including 2 good answers. And this was CTFL. The exam was very hard compared to the syllabus material. And had very long and complicated questions compared to previously known exam questions. I failed.
Thats really unexpected. A country member board should adhere to ISTQB standards of exam. If possible take exam from ISQI or Brightest to have a better exam.
can you add more sample questions with explanation or add more sample papers for 4.0 version, i have scheduled my foudation test to be 21st of this month and need to give mocks to check my understanding
