  Everyone on YT keeps showing off DH and says "it's gonna change MC forever", and yet the files are still kept to a Discord server and there is still no stable release (I honestly smell feature creep). Wake me up when it gets a stable release (same goes for ReTerraforged).

  Doubtful that it's feature creep, more that it's just an EXTREMELY difficult task to get something like this working. It's already been in development for at least 2 years iirc. They're slowly ironing out bugs and releasing versions fairly regularly, but it's still pretty broken. The fact that they've made it this far is proof enough for me to trust that it'll get a stable release eventually.

  I have a nice suggestion why not open a world and have a group of your friends enter a world while you are shooting a movie clip like this. And make your friends go along with this world and look at each other and enter a village and act and you are doing beautiful cinematography I recommend working on this something. special when you zoom in for them and slow photography

  Back in like 2014, this is exactly how I pictured Minecraft would look like in the future, with realistic graphics and unlimited view distance. Glad it's a reality now 💪💪

  I've had that problem too, but it was my cpu. My undervolting wasn't stable, I had to reset it to default and the game doesn''t crash anymore. Distant Horizons is CPU haavy af.

  I wonder what's faster. chunky or dh when flying high enough to every direction is in view for example for 256 chunks square. dh certainly lets the cpu have some breathing room (5800x3d and it only gets 80° instead of almost 90° with chunky😅. just from watching it generate it seems about the same speed.
