That golf game actually looks really good. One thing I've noticed about the games from this era - if the graphics were good, the gameplay tended to suck donkey balls. They hadn't really gotten the play to match up with the visuals yet

Is there a way to change the load time? Sometimes I trigger a pc game from hyperspin attraction II and it take about 10 seconds to load but the hypersin wheel returns within like 5 seconds and then the game loads and I have the hyperspin video playing in the background. Also can I disable the animations when I am in a console moving from game to game? Thank you.

The music makes me wish I had Amiga (or that there was a reasonable standard for FM synthesis quality...) instead back then. It always grated on my ears. Is 2:12:50 One Step Beyond the Amiga version? If not, how does it sound like that? Same questions for 2:29:20 Quest for Glory IV...More games should have used XMIDI (IT, MOD, etc) but maybe it was too CPU intensive for some users back then.

I swear games back then had more creativity and variety than today. I guess because gaming is mainstream now, and many people that are managers in some big companies never played video games in their entire life, and imo they shouldn't be allowed to be managers.

Yeah DOS was relatively easy to program for and people kept making DOS games well up into the Win98 era. And there were tons of games many of us never saw cuz they didnt advertise on TV and some didnt advertise in gaming magazines. You had to hear about it on bulletin board services and spread the news yourself.
