You already bring your money into the country and still they try to cheat everywhere! The most brazen I find, it is at the airports! The duty free stores are so overpriced .... Smoking areas closed, so that you spend money again for VIP smoking area.... and there makes the staff own fantasy prices. From food and drink we do not even want to start.

Are cruise ship patrons allowed in the resort when docked? Looking to book but am a little concerned with this whole Coronavirus

no. they aren't in the hotel than. they make trips to puerto plata. they stay only one day. arriving in the morning und leaving in the evening.

@@sabrinas2181We thought everything was fantastic.We didn't get the ocean view room we booked but that was fine because they gave us a voucher for 7 days free in an ocean view for this year,so that's what were using this year plus we are staying an extra 3 days so 10 days cant wait!!

They absolutely ruined this once gorgeous resort that once was full of old world charm! Now it is just all stark and sterile white!

Yes. All inclusive. For the Playa Bachata as well, if you are in the Senator Puerto Plata Spa Resort. I love it there.
