I've loved AFI since high school, so it sucks to see Davey not being able to hit his notes here, sure the sound could be overall better mixed, but it's just a fact that Davey is not hitting the right notes.

Actually, there WAS a secret "hidden track", although it's not a song and it wasn't at the end of the record. If you played the CD on a stereo or boombox and pressed rewind at the very beginning of the record, at 00:00, it would play that jingle of bells, from the prelude 12/21 / Miss Murder music video, which is only a few seconds long, but what was pretty cool was that it would count backwards, which at the time I thought was really awesome and such a cool novelty to wow my friends as a young teen lol.

@@pr9039 I guess it’s all a matter of interpretation. I consider all of those bands Hardcore bands too. Hardcore is just a subjective subgenre. Stuff like this AFI record was considered Hardcore in the early 80s, similar to bands like 7 Seconds, Scream, and Articles of Faith, who were not as aggressive as say SS Decontrol or Artificial Peace. Needless to say, the first Suicidal Tendencies record is in my top five from the 80s. You can’t go wrong with Minor Threat. Huge fan of Biohazard and most of the NYHC bands (Sick of it All, Warzone, Killing Time, etc.). Never liked Hatebreed nor Terror because I don’t file my tax returns with a crayon.
