    Great video! I learned a lot about the products. Other cowboy boot manufacturers don't do this kind of video. By the way, I'm wondering if I decide to add thin half sole protectors like Topy to Chisos boots it would void the warranty. Can someone from Chisos please answer?

    I don’t think it’s a marketing scam to say the moisture and oils from your feet help to “condition” and mold the boots to your foot… I wear mine everyday with socks. In the summer my feet sweat thru the socks the sweat is made of water salt proteins and oils.. that moisture from your feet soften the leather and it allows it to stretch and literally custom molds to your foot.

    I’m stuck between sizes and can’t decide what to do. If I go down half a size the heel movement is perfect but they feel snug around the front of my foot to the point one of my feet went numb after wearing for a couple hours. If I go up half a size the front of my foot is snug but doesn’t go to sleep, but the heel has too much movement. I can’t decide if I shoutout go smaller and hope they stretch and break in, or go big and see if the heel movement lowers over time.

  • @Chisos
    @Chisos29 күн бұрын

    I always recommend going smaller and breaking them in! Our insole is pretty thick, so what has worked for some customers is replacing our insole with a thinner insole during the break in process, then switching back to the Chisos insole once the leather has softened!

Talk about the ease of putting the boots on with a smooth, cooling interior. Talk about the extreme durability to scuffing and every sharp object you might encounter. Don't render your marketing impotent with this imaginary nonsense.

    Might consider toning down the Texas image thing a bit. It’s not a positive thing outside of that state. I think you alienate too many potential new customers…more than you think. Texans are know as self-righteous, billy blowhards. True or not, perception is reality when it comes to sales. I know you’re doing fairly well, but you could be doing even better with a different marketing slant. Just something to consider.
