  Jade City is a trilogy: Jade City, Jade War, and Jade Legacy. I need to reread Jade City, so I can finally continue on the story. I hear War and Legacy only get better and better. Dune is a book I need to retry, I enjoyed what I read of it, but I tried starting while just coming back to reading from a long reading slump, and it just wasn't the best idea.🎀

  I didn't realize Madame Web was a movie, I thought it was another show. 😅I'm torn about this whole spider-verse thing. Peter Parker/Spider-Man has been my favorite character for ages, long before MCU was even a thing, so I want to watch anything connected to the character, but since he's not even a background character (to my knowledge at least), I also have no desire to watch the shows. I really need to watch Abbott Elementary, it seems like a show that's right up my alley, but I always seem to find reasons not to start it. I remember Crossroads! But I did not realize it was Zoe Saldana. I've always wanted to go on a road trip, but like a fantastical/movie-style road trip, not a real-life road trip lol.

  Abbott elementary is one of the last cable shows I watch. The only thing that worry me about Madam Webb is that there releasing the review embargo a day before release which is never a good sign

  If you want to read Dune chaotically I can tell you how I got through it. 😂 I would read like 25% and then watch the movie up until the point where it catches up with the chapter… they are both so long. I did have to finish the last 40% of the book on its own since that’s part 2. It was really good though just too long. I also loved Britney’s book. Took like 2-3 hours to read. And read Legendborn! I just finished Bloodmarked and it’s getting so good. It’s a cycle. I think it’s going to be 4 books.

  there are romantic scenes but mainly kissing and making out. and there is a conversation about taking intimacy to the next level between the main couple. i don't remember anything that was too detailed happening...

  I'm not a big romance reader, I used to read paranormal romances only and now just don't gravitate towards any kind of romance, but if I do want to read one, friends-to-lovers books call to me more than enemies-to-lovers, yet I'm always so annoyed at the both-have-feelings-but-neither-say-anything part of it. Lol, I was already an adult when Dog with a Blog came out, and I had pretty much the exact same thought.

  i totally get that. i feel - especially in the past few years - romance has become so trope heavy but not in a good way? like authors don't allow the story to flow and the characters to just fall in love like before? or maybe it's just more obvious they try to stick to a format.

  Ugh in my opinion that book sounds frustrating as fuck. I personally don’t see the hype behind romance books. But I’m not going to hate on people who they enjoy them. Plus I love the Itzzy cake album;I thought that was such a cool aesthetic choice

  I'm the same way about unhauling books, I don't know if I'll read it, or maybe there's something about it I didn't like, but I don't want to give up either.😭 It's funny, I'm not a Ron fan, but I don't understand the hate. Then again, I read the books as they were still coming out (the first 4 were all that were out when I started), so who knows how I'd feel now.🤷‍♀

  when i unhaul books i still hold onto them for a few months just to be sure! i change my mind a lot lol. and ron! it's the little things in how he responds to things or women in the books and it seems like nothing but altogether i just kept squinting more and more at him. 😅 i don't think i would've picked up on that stuff if i was younger for sure.

  Although I'm 33, there are books/movies/shows from when I was growing up are now almost impossible, if not actually impossible, to find, I fully agree about getting and holding onto physical copies of what you love. 💚
