    I'm feeling good, I have a little less pain in my back and I'm feeling better about my self. since I did the cleans & detox the scale is going down every time I step on it and it motivates me! Thank you for all of the support you just don't know how it helps me when some one drops a few kind words.

    I have probably an earlier model. The switch on my handle is different, and that was the problem with mine…. I got to a point where I couldn’t even move the switch to turn it on or off. I tried splitting the handle open and it’s really like glued together. I don’t think I can get it apart without breaking it.

    Sorry to hear your having trouble with your water flosser . if you check out below the video you will find links to a new hose and handle . The hose and handle are very easy to replace and the flossers are really good I use mine every night.

  • @OFLHLGZ28
    @OFLHLGZ284 күн бұрын

    Yes, I use mine every night as well, but the switch on the handle started getting really hard to turn on and off. I tried soaking it overnight and white vinegar, but it didn’t seem to make much difference. They don’t seem to have a replacement for my particular model, but I found one that I think will work. It looks the same. I ordered it and I’ll try and see what happens.

  • @LolasLifeLessons

    Hi I'm not counting calories but I do add all my food to a food app that calculates the calories . I consume aprox 1900 - 2100 calories a day. I also do intermittent fasting . I have a back problem so I do rehab exercises I also walk and ride a bike everyday . I try to reduce any added sugar and I try not to eat rice, bread , pasta ,potatoes and things like that but sometimes its hard not to.

    The earlier videos you weighed in the morning?

  • @LolasLifeLessons
    @LolasLifeLessons10 күн бұрын

    I still weigh my self first thing after I wake up. I'm just showing you the food I ate that day. Then in the morning showing you my weight. (this is the food I ate and my weight went up or down because of it.) I think I'm seeing a pattern between the food I eat and my weight going up and down . my weight may go up 1 or 2 pounds if I eat high carbs vs high protein. I also see a difference in my washroom routine. I'm trying to recored this way to help me remember .

    The mold is outside the hose so cleaning it with vinegar etc. is useless. I am guessing the hose is leaking into the cavity of the handle part and humidity is high in a bathroom. I had trouble with mildew in the reserve years ago with a water pik so I never used them after that. I had one of the portable ones for a while kept in the bedroom. Which seemed not to have mold. But it was not powerful and it had to be charged all the time so I gave up on it.

    Just found your videos. Watched a couple already. Love the straightforwardness. Did you have elevated glucose levels/Diabetic before your dr recommended the diet? I think you look fine phyaically but the fat on the inside is what can affect us. I am also on a wl journey and a journwy to find out why i have chronic pain and hip/back pain. Started last year at 252 and am now staling at 215. Found out i was diabwtic and went low carb. Good luck!

    Hi thank you for the kind words . I'm not diabetic but I have degenerative disc in my neck and my lumbar spine and I have narrowing of the canal where the nerves branch out of my spinal cord. As my day wears on my back becomes stiff and sore and my doctor believes if I reduced the amount of sugar I consume it would help with the inflammation in my body which will lead to less pain .

  • @sarahbtothew6610
    @sarahbtothew6610Ай бұрын

    Sounds about like my problems but also with a hip. I'm trying to get insurance to pay for an mri but they are making me do PT first. I know losing 30-40 lbs and quitting my job of lifting kids at a daycare has made it a bit easier to move around and has taken some of the pressure off my lower back. And yes sugar as well as processed foods are a big inflammatory.

  • @LolasLifeLessons
    @LolasLifeLessonsАй бұрын

    220lbs is not that bad , everyone is different . I haven't been below 220lbs since I was 16 and now I'm in my 50's . I didn't see anything wrong with the way I was eating till I hurt my back and my doctor told me I will never be pain free. But she told me if I loss the extra weight it would help. she said write down what you eat for a week and then look to see how much sugar is in there and I was shocked . That why I started to record what I eat it helps me see my good and bad choices . If you want to be healthy and happy you can do it !

    OK, so you replace the hose, but the inside of the machine that actually takes the water and pumps it with pressure into the hose still looks just like the hose does, so what is the point. Just because you can't see that part does not mean it is clean, it must look the same as the hose, which means without replacing the entire unit you really can't get it completely clean.
