  Seeing this makes me realize they could've simply made the Consort Radahn swords have a "Consort's Stance" and in an even better world we'd have some sembalance of a Thrust R2 with a few wider R1s. At least 1 R1 with some width to it. Y'know, because the strength of weapons for PVP weapons includes versatility, which is why Greataxes with wider swings are favored by the community. Also I've been debating myself about that Messmer's Knight GS and I was wondering if Fire infusion wasn't the best plan? Like using it with a Clawmark Seal, Fire Grant Me Strength, you get the idea.

  Sadly, in pvp shard of Alexander doesn’t work with holy ashes of war, and the flock talisman doesn’t work with holy incantations (pvp); this bug is here since ER launch.

  Dual light gs with the fine crucible feather talisman is super fun. Also apparently the jumping heavy for light gs does 127 poise damage.

  Hey dude great video! quick question, i was wondering if you play on pc? im having trouble trying to do a similar build with the greatsword of damnation in my main hand and the spread crossbow in the offhand. My problem is that when i try to use the ash of war of the greatsword which is in my mainhand it just makes the crossbow shoot the second slot of bolts instead. Is there anyway to change this?

  Swift slash has no counter. Sleep does. Shields, armor with alot of focus, small shield that raises your resistance to sleep, talismans that raise your focus. The "counter" to Swift slash is Swift slash. It is the murky of Elden ring

  @@MrCurLL idk man I think they are somewhat on the same level. IMO, you see swift more is because most players don’t have max inv to craft the sleep bolts but swift is just a quest and easier to obtain by any solo player, If the sleep bow was as prevalent as swift it would be getting more attention. We don’t all have duped max resources.

  @@kylekilgore291 tbh, you dont have Max resources cause you dont want to. Even on console its easy enough to dupe. Also, Swift Slash can Destroy 3 people at the same time, sleep cant.

  For me sleep should be nerfed on some weapons, especially that unfair crossbow that applies the effect almost 100% and several players abuse it. Anything that seems too unpleasant for PvP should be nerfed, obviously by unpleasant I mean specific abilities or in this case effects that allow for an easy victory even against a expert player

  First softcap for sleep on arcane scaling weapons was nerfed from 45 to 30. Second softcap is still 60. However, the physical damage softcap on those weapons is still 50 so it's not necessarily a good idea to run 30 arc at meta level if you're mainly using something like Ripple Halberd. Hope that explains it✌️

  Sorry if the questions seem stupid but how does lowering the softcap level make it a nerf? And if i for instance wanted to maximise damage on blood infused weapons like GUGS, would a 58 STR 45 ARC split still be ideal for blood buildup and phys damage (both for pve and pvp)?

  @@vladsushiblokeDon't worry, this doesnt affect other weapons infused to bleed/poison so your build is still good. Up until the first softcap is when you get the most returns per point, and afterwards you get diminished returns. So, by lowering the first softcap they made diminishing returns kick in sooner, meaning that those points between 30 and 45 only give about half of the sleep buildup they used to.

  my hot take is that fromsoft has never had good pvp and will never have good pvp. there will always be some broken or unbalanced option that everyone else picks and the only way you can get around this is with fight clubs.

  Certain ashes of war have always taken priority when in the left hand. Parrying fists for example. The devs make an educated guess as to what ash should take priority, usually it's the right-hand weapon, except for those ones I'm referring to, but this isn't a new mechanic.
