  Just love it when a puzzle game tries to gaslight you. Just because something is an optional secret doesn't mean that obtuse obnoxious design is suddenly genius and completely okay. Looking at you, Johnathan Blow. . .

  Ah my favourite pet peeve of the puzzle genre. Rather than making an actual interesting or challenging puzzle just make it obtuse af and pretend that it's smart. The Braid secret star philosophy lives on.

  What i hate the moat about this puzzle is the "hint" they give you. It implies that you deploy the red "in the past" and the blue laser "now" as in not during the recording. I hadnt used hints the whole game, finally gave in on this one and got a dogshit hint

  I played 100 hours of Baba Is You which has no red herrings, so I got stuck on this puzzle assuming all elements must be used

  I didn't realise the door was so quick to open.. I actually managed to get the connector on the ledge you jump on to collect the star and block the bomb with one of the boxes, so that I'd not be blown up when the connector pushes me off the small platform. Now I am disappointed to see how quick and easy it should have been 😅

  Interesting, I didn't do that. I took a box to the final fan, dumped it in front of it - it got pushed back a bit, then got another box and jumped on the first box and threw that box down - that and the other box under me both got pushed back a bit, but by going onto the box I'd just thrown down and jumping I was able to get to the piece without having do to anything with the blue beam. So I came here to see if there were different ways... and possibly a right way.

  At 1:11 if you spam jump for about 10 seconds and at 1:27 you drop off both boxes onto the platform, you can grab both boxes onto the top of the latter without having to do a second recording.

  This one stumped me. I went ahead and completed the remainder of that world, even getting some gold stars, and could still not wrap my head around this one. Until I looked it up. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.

  I beat this by placing the cube on the button and then picking it up really fast as soon as I step on the blower. Apparently that was not the intended solution :D

  I thought my game was glitched and wasn’t pulling up the QR code 😟 didn’t know id have to disconnect from the fictional world of the game to pull out my own phone to do it. I love a good puzzle and I’m not very good at them anyway, but that’s a bit much. Enjoying the game tho

  Worst puzzle in the game. There should’ve been a forced section that makes you jam a fan, just so it could nonverbally teach you that that’s possible. I get you don’t want to spoon feed the player but I genuinely think this was an oversight. The Witness is a far better game in this regard.

  I spent hours trying to understand how to move the connector from that room with a window, only to watch this and realize that all this time the key was at the beginning of the level..

  the boxes themselves block the laser while soaring over the middle area. So there's a simpler solution: detach the fan, put a box on the fan platform, climb on the box, attach the fan and jump off immediately (so you land in the middle area) and you have enough time to get past the fan
