The collusion between the IMA and the Kerala State Pollution Control Board (popularly known as Kerala State Polluting Board among environmental activists in Kerala) is evident right from the applications submitted by the operators (IMA) to the KSPCB. In fact the Kerala State Human Rights Commission had ordered compensation to be paid to the farmers in the neighborhood whose agricultural land had been laid to waste due to the pollutants from this plant. Unfortunately it was done only for one year and the amount was meagre making it impossible for the affected farmers to pursue the cases every year. Sir , Does Pre treatment of laboratory, microbiology waste within the HCF premises itself is mandatory under bmwm rules 2016 and any HCF is following it ?

Sorry for the late reply....as per the BMW M Rules 2016, pre-treatment of Laboratory waste by the occupier is mandatory...but there is practical difficulties which the authorities need to sort out.
