Thank you 😊
I did this with all my strawberries and my blackberry bush I thought I killed my blackberry plant but when I went to pull it out I found a ton of small sprouts in the stems and all are doing great now 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
That’s good. I can’t wait to get some blackberry and strawberries to grow. It’s good to know my watermelon may survive 😂 lol
I wish you guys would let us know what movie you are showing on the streaming app platform so that we can watch it, too!?!
🤔
They look horrible
Maybe that's the reason for the transplant?
That’s definitely the reason. They weren’t growing.
Standing in the raised beds got me like 😬😵💀
🤷🏽♀️
If you can grow basil, you can grow just about any common veg in this heat. As long as you water properly and plant accordingly. My grandma always had a beautiful garden in the valley.
Thanks for that tip. And man is it HOT! About 90-100 degrees. And my basil is growing really good.
What else do you grow? I usually grow cherry tomatoes, and a variety of basil. I can only do so much with this Arizona heat! 😎👍
I’m definitely growing basil too. But also bell peppers, scallions, rosemary and I have two cherry tomato plants. Thanks for watching.
Your garden is looking really good. And you have a very nice growing space. Thanks for sharing your garden with us. Happy gardening 😊
Thanks so much! So many plans but I’m here for it! Thanks for watching!! Happy gardening to you too!
❤
Thanks for watching. 😊
I have five different basils from seeds planted now.
That’s great! I plan to grow more and companion plant them around the garden too. Basil is an excellent companion plant for tomatoes, peppers, parsley, lettuce, beans, beets, cabbage, eggplant, marigolds, potatoes, or oregano.
Thanks for the tips! ❤
Of course!! Thanks so much for watching. 😉
I always tell my friends & family to not throw out those old unused potatos & yams. Plant them! You can plant them in just about anything that drains. 1 makes at least a dozen. Great for people with just an apartment balcony too! Great channel...😊
Yes! Those are great tips you give them. Very true! Potatoes are my favorite!
It's the best exercise for your body & mind...🙏 I love your channel.
I was sore the other day when digging up a small tree. lol so it’s definitely a workout. And I appreciate your kindness. I’m so happy you enjoy the channel. It makes my heart smile. Thank you!
Mint is the same. I plant all my herbs in pots because some spread like weeds.
Yes, we had a mint bush and oh my was it huge!! I’m excited about this because plants protect each other from insects and pests. Basil has a strong smell that draws the attention of beneficial insects and repel harmful ones. Thanks for watching!
My bazil took over the corner it was planted in. I am finding lil "colonies" all over that side of the garden this year.
Wow…that’s pretty interesting. Thanks for sharing that. I honestly didn’t know it could do that. I do plan to plant a few more in different areas.
Watermelon 🍉 yummy
Yes.. I cant wait
I planted my lemon drop yellow watermelon in a small pot and now it’s climbing up the trellis 😊♥️👍 can’t wait to have it in summer. Last year I have 7 in two plants in same pot sitting on raised bed 😊👩🌾♥️
That is awesome! I’ve never heard of that kind. I think mine is a sweet black watermelon. I’m hoping all my watermelon plants get good harvests. Happy Gardening!
Go beets go beets !! 🎉
The beets are shocking me. They have grown a lot more.
Oooooh
It’s growing nicely
Nice !!! But gurl your hair is EVERYTHING!!!! In this video!!!!!!🎉
You're the best! Lol I usually have a hat on because ain’t no body got time for the HEAT! 😂😂😂
i’m subscribed to your channel and I think this is cool
Thanks for subscribing and so do I. I like growing new things in the garden. Thanks for watching!
This looks like am Elderberry tree
It really does. I noticed I have 3 large trees on my property like this. I’ll try the plant app. Thanks.
The same happened to me😭
I know how you feel. We can always try again. But grow more than we need and see what outcome we get the next time.
This year is my first year gardening. Keep going, girl, trial and error, but so much enjoyment
Thanks so much! You’ll do great gardening. Figure out what zone you’re in then plant what’s in season.
How do i know when mine are ready the tops are still very green and healthy
Usually they go from green to yellow or brown. Most take about 4 months. But mine took a lot longer. I could have left them in for longer because mine were small. But the plant should die out then you can pull them up. Thanks for watching!
@@TheComfyLane thankyou for replying much appreciated 🌹

Thanks for sharing this video with us. Yes take it easy in the heat. Good job on getting the free soil. Have a blessed day
Thank you! I appreciate you watching. You have a blessed day too!
That’s gonna be some good soil food!!
Yes I think so too
Wow, I'm surprised that you all never cleared it out.
I know, right?.. there was so much work to be done on our diy house and the yard was overwhelming. But I’m happy we are past that and can’t wait for the finished product. Because when it’s done it’s done. Yay!!
Look nice!
Thanks for watching!!
Good for kids to have a hand in it…they learn every day !!!
They do. She loves it!
Good job saving the leaves and dry stuff for mulch!! I hope your backyard becomes your oasis ❤ 🙏🏻
I hope so too. Thank you!! I’m definitely working hard to create that.
A very nice yard.
Thanks so much. Sometimes it’s figuring out what to do with the space.
oh thats nice
Thanks. It’s a lot of work but I’m up for it.
Really good job
Thanks!
How are these doing?
They are doing really well. Some have yellow flowers now and hopefully they will be growing out and producing watermelon soon.
@@TheComfyLane oh nice can’t wait to see that
It’s all good we see what you’re doing. Thank you for showing us. That’s really cool.
I appreciate that. Thank you!!
@@TheComfyLane you’re welcome
Nice !! I love her hairstyle
Thanks so much
Elder. Eatable.
You know I thought it might be too. Gonna look it up.
Cherry????
They actually don’t get any bigger than this so I don’t think it’s cherry. But thanks for commenting.
the sticks will decomp eventualy u need a more permanent solution
I agree. I have more wood or bricks to prop it up. I’ll decide what works best. Thanks for commenting.
Not a 2X4
Thanks. My mistake. My husband bought it lol.
That is a 4x4
Thanks. My mistake. My husband bought it lol.
How long does that have to sit flush without other more permanent support (stones, metal)?
I haven’t secured it yet completely. I will be screwing a metal support or screwing/nailing together so it’s more permanent. But once I added in the dirt (I show this on my upcoming video) it holds the 2x4 in place great. It’s very stable.
