Great overnighter and great setup. Nothing like early morning cardio lol. Could the cold you were feeling be caused by not enough ground insulation? You had a lot of blankets. I know I've not used enough ground insulation and froze by a** off even though I had a sleeping bag that was good for at least 20' colder. Nate

Yes it was inadequate ground insulation. It’s just that I’m always surprised the amount of wool blankets I use don’t do the trick. And the leaves as well if I remember right.

It’s possible but I’ve been to the LBH reenactment where there was about 100 Crow riding bareback with excellent skill. And that’s just one example. There’s many bareback riders available.

Had a 2 great- uncle that took the Oregon trail from Eastern Ky. He was a preacher and established the Powell family line. Marion, Oregon. I agree with the woke and anti-white statements. On one hand it’s a style I created and I call it the Wild Side Flat Brim. The distinct feature is how I’ve shaped the crown. Otherwise it’s just a flat brim hat and each company seems to have their own name for it. Their crowns are usually flat across the top, mine is angled downward from the back to the front.

In Mississippi its really humid but i can dry plants pretty well in a paper sack leaving it in my truck for a day or two mostly plantain and goldenrod

I could just store it in the cabinet in the paper sack dried for later, but theres so much of it around i dont need to save any, once its dried i put the plantain in a small jar of olive oil for a few weeks then strain it and melt bees wax into the oil for bug dope or to put on cuts. The goldenrod i just dry for tea every once in a while.
