The issue with Leona's look is that she only wore braids for her 'lioness' persona or the lion character of her drag. And this is giving shortcut. Lion = Africa = Braids. And i dont like that. Cultural appropriation is a very US thing. So it's hard to explain or even understand it as a french. It definitely woke up our far right politicians though. Didn't know they were that passionate by Drag Race 😃 maybe they were attracted by the magic word ✨️RACE✨️. Anyway. I know for a fact that french people want to avoid to bring the US race culture here, so yeah.

The bicycle theme for Nehellenia is perfect because in Italy we have a sport competition called 'Giro d'Italia' which is very well known, a bicycle sport. Even the look for the runway is iconic: the dress is the Italian boot and the purse is inspired by the two islands of Sicily and Sardinia, the blue color represents not only the sea but also the color of the Italian national football team.

I completely agree with Logan here, this franchise feels like it’s being produced by people who are following what is usually known as “the (production) bible” for Drag Race but they have not really watched Drag Race. They’re just following the formula, but they don’t know how it’s actually supposed to be/look like.

They were obvias 7 because of a popular Mexican group from like the 90's - 2000's called OV7 (sounds similar pronounced in Spanish). Their biggest competitors were Kabah which is the group that sings the song used for the lipsync.

I usually stop following queens on Instagram when they don"t acknowledge or like comments. Ruby on the Nail doesn't acknowledge but Soa de Muse is very responsive.

We have the old slang word "CHIBOG" which means to eat. The Theme ChiVouge is combining Chibog and Vouge, that is why they are posing and looking polished like a cover model of Vouge while eating/chibog.

myx's look is an homage to sailor pluto. versex's name was supposed to be an homage to versace. not sure why she didn't just go with versexy so it sounds more like it. she says her drag is for day time but the wig lace was too visible and it was coming off...

You have to know : In France we deeply love Ruby and Lula but we are really upset because the vast majority of us love Le Filip and she should at least have two victories according to us. We are really receptive to her style and humor and she is looks like to be an amazing human being. We still hope to finally see a victory for Le Filip for the next episode and if she wins the crown no one will complain.

Opaline and Ruby really touched me the whole episode itself was a rollercoaster of emotions I love when the seniors shared their past experiences to the Queens it was so touching and Ruby with Opaline and Le Filip with La Baronne were my favs❤❤❤sad that Perseo it was truly refreshing to have this kind of Drag on the french franchise and she represented the Canaries drag beautifully❤❤❤
