Thank you for giving us a proper full-fidelity F-15 cockpit. I understand Falcon 4.0 is an F-16sim so you really didn’t have to, but I love being able to properly use my STECS in a sim aircraft.

Quite a bit different than the first version of Falcon 4.0. I read that manual probably half a dozen times because my 386 couldn't handle the beefy requirements and had nothing else to do until I had a better computer.

well. dcs are shity russ agresors. so is good when in the west do something. but this is 10years back in enviroment, and also plane textures are lower then dcs.

Well, yah, but Eagle Dynamics are working on the DCS F-16 to add more features to the Sniper Pod and fix a bunch of stuff with the INS and weapons that are currently screwed up. Also, the Sniper Pod is still broken in DCS but it may be less broken than before. To assert that Falcon BMS is better than the DCS F-16 would require turning a blind eye to the fact that DCS will be just as good as BMS in about 30 years from now. Of course, everything will still be in early access then and mostly still broken. How about those cloud shadows in DCS tho! I don't know about you guys, but I'll take awesome cloud shadows over more accurate, fully functioning sensor pods and weapons. Besides, missiles are stupid anyway according to real fighter pilots on the DCS forums.

Still needs better controller mapping. Doesn't come close to DCS's flexibility. (Not a DCS fanboy it's just all I know to compare to. ED can kick rocks with how they've handled DCS) I can map everything I need without issues to an xbox controller in a full fidelity plane just fine, but BMS just doesn't agree with that idea. It seems to have its own forced mappings that I can't bypass. Like throttle being forced onto the triggers, so throttle is permanently stuck at 50% unless I hold a trigger down, that's just silly. I've seen a number of people gatekeep this hobby with "You shouldn't be playing it then" "Just buy a hotas" "Spend money". Sorry, but no, if I can do it in DCS then there's absolutely no good reason why I shouldn't be able to do it in BMS.

With all the respect, but you cant demand/expect an entire team of developers, designers and more, to fully develop such a detailed F-16 (and more) simulator that gets you to do things as close as possible to the real thing... while using a controller. Its like asking from a simulator to degrade to a plain game just for you. And thats ok mate, if "gaming" is what you want, Ace Combat, WarThunder and DCS got you covered. No need to get a cheap hotas (because you can rly find hotas for 70 euro for a start). But if you are like most of the people in the BMS community, a sim lover, a patient study sim enthousiast, then i am sure you know what to save some money for :) Cheers

One of the biggest features planned to be released in 4.38 is the complete overhaul of the terrain engine. This amongst others updates to the sim would put this legendary sim in brighter limelight.

got big bug cant switch in acm master mode to acm sub modes wit TMS. doesnt, work.

@@MultiJp51 got it now. had to set radar cursor deadzone to medium in the radar cursor axis launcher settings, so it wont interfear in acm mode. im able now to switch from acm to boresight and vertical with tms again.

Hi, D3m1aN here. Make sure in BMS graphics settings everything is maxed out. Fly KTO theater. Also search for BMS reshade.

Hi, make sure you have all graph settings maxed out. Fly in KTO as it has all latest PBR models and improved airbases. Lastly check Falcon BMS Reshade settings online. Cheers
