Welcome to the Channel, I am new to this so bear with me!
So where to start.... I've always had an interest in film & cinema. Not just watching it on the silver screen but where that shining light comes from at the back of the movie theater. Over the years I've collected old movie cameras, film projectors and bits of film ranging from amateur home movies to motion picture classics.
My plan is to archive and digitize some of this film so it doesn't get lost in time.

I lived it Kitchener, Ontario. The AD on TV made it seem I was in for an amazing tire -- with Pyramids (and the rage at the time), animatronics (which broke down often), and a bunch of portable rides. There was talk about how Disney potentially wanted to locate in Niagara Falls back back in the day. The was talk of Doug Henning opening a large theme park as well. I was 12 when I saw the ad, and very impressionable. I still look at the main building (skydiving). Would love to see the animatronics if you have a few pics.
There was a Wolf Pack 5 animatronic show in this theme park, too bad it wasn't shown in the film.
I have a photo or two somewhere of the show. I'm working my way through a box of negatives. I also have the 16mm animated film that accompanied the show. (waiting to be digitized)

Very interesting. My father used 9/5 in the'50s and I'm collecting vintage projectors
I use to watch this VHS feature all the time.
Saw this live at the Shaw Festival in the early ‘80s and then taped it off the CBC and watched it over and over again. Heath Lamberts was so brilliant. What a wonderful production.
Can remember watching this as a kid with rest of family on cbc and its still a joy to see. Quality production that transfers to television because of a great play, and terrific acting....bravo

0:27 I've Been To The Odeon Leicester Square In London In England And I've Seen The New James Bond Movie No Time To Die Last Year Back In September 2021 And It Was Super Awesome. Thanks Mate. X
My childhood has returned to me! My family had a copy growing up, but recorded over it by accident ages ago. This holds so much warmth and nostalgia I would have cried watching it if it wasn't the most hilarious stage play ever.
OMG, I have been looking for this since it first aired... my taped Betamax copy from CBC North (Winnipeg) wore out in '87... Thank you!
