This film taught universalabout truth of a kind care worker with seven orphaned family and widower and also about religious life to choose with yes to marry the perfect spouse not be scared of out there in the world because one chooses to go on alter one know why because she or she chosel eithout a gun to his her choice of life or single is free to choose and in every situation their is positive and negative we all change from our earky thirties to more mature age sowe all somtimes wished to change choice of life but the truth is hard because we have too change and diefor our wishes and wants of moods thatvis why we suffer imensly with grey clouds when they appear dark clouds there is a silver lining in evry cloudy thought and many persons we need to learn from and gives us service thatvis why us catholic have the tenth commandment sowe cater with what huge family of god we all have different roles as no one can take your place ,change of wrong thought pretend ,you should bechappy where you are only illusion thought only think thatcotger side is greener no it is not, younger generation tell older generation that only for two years you never see fault a honeymoon with a friend ,a partner a husband or lbgd than you have to teach the other what please you and not and visa versa as acheart needs another thevjesuits teach ask Pope frances if hecneeds to becloved too as a holycfather hecneeds to be loved like St pope John Paul the 11 when he could not travel got so weak and he said ,," before i came to you ,nowyou come with me ,those who just loved him as a pope fid not conduder hood any more as a holy father butcthose who truly loved him ,loved him even more kindly so and thry crued when he was dying why because a personbis not just a priest a nun a wife a husband a teacher but achuman pedson who nedds to be shown even in presence and far becauseceven married couples grow to be kind to one another trye love does not stopat romantic love but to be kind to one another that is god' s love ,foctors do not choose religion or nationalty thry cater to heal all thier licence tobmaje person go home ,i saw with myvown eyes how nuns stand up to eachvother when srcjosepha pressed my hand so hard toshow me how strong she is and i said ah how cruel you are ,she k swcme weclaughed but another nun heard me and shexwent yo tell mother so she stood up for her ,i was glad vecsuse i knew then thatclike children they are in familybof father and mother and jesus to serve in teaching at school see itvis ups and downs ,the downs we do not want but this is a prilgrimage one gets tired in old age ,even ealier age gets tired oof pilgrimage to home ,i was alot with the dying ,i heard them wanting to die go home ,in English thry say ,my sistervin law sent a message to me when her mum died early morning she did not say die ,as shexwasxtaught english at st bridge catholic school in Syndney andmyvhusband at decla salke college Sydney too ,so they are not nurse but being in catholic schools they sayvpassed away not died ,iblearned that in catholic hodpital run by catholic nuns little company of Mary sowe wrote in night dutyrepoort for doctors to see ,passed away not die no ,sovevryvhuman being is needd where she or he is ,if god chose you for him be joyful nitvillusioned as other side will makes you happier ,a good shrperd nun was amazed when i told her ,wecmarried women say ,we wpuldchave been better off being a nun than married women ,see it gets hard for both ascthis is apilgrime home,if jesus was god andcman don't youvthink as a man he had needs too as a man a goodckind man dies obey doctors orders ,no more children because he is a goodcman so good people comes from good god andcthecopposite of love is not hate but selfishness bye ,i do not boast but i cry alot why becausexwars in church family and earth is not peace is patience is love and to praise god is to give Him joy asHe lives in the praises of His people, ifcwecdobnotvpraise the one who went thtough Barbetic death in stedcof Barabara Hecgavecus all all all hisbirgans alive not with anesthitic and in warm bed with dgnity of a man and a holy son of the living God a widow with relief not with pension ,many she said helped me but wecgave her what she needed and she gave us what we did not have , she said ,by your sweat you getchalf your pay what with stealing and first wisdom thought gave to her being so neddy in material things shecgave us back this word ,,,God father turned His face when He let gobJesus died He sobbed so bad ,in msltese language i write as others taught me sovif one only one reads what ivhave been taught ,perhaps my dear children will learn from you more than i can teach what iblearndd as they wantvlove from me us not preach to them mother and father see how you arecpriceless a treasure of heaven taught and teach ,i need axparish priest when young, lilttle i syillblove thatvmaltesexparish priest whostood up fir me andcmyvyoungest sister because of selfishness from outsider ,god gares thise who bring fivision with gredd from brothers and sistees be fair with gifts of father and mother of both sides beware to be shared is right if not beware to me first Always me i have to change furst always as we all getvperfect measurements ,rember the old scales of vegetable hawkers with fonkey in village street ,thry had iron to wrigh heavy potatoes it goes up first th e scale then down bottom andche the vegetable seller will try to perfect the scale byvups andcdowns then straighten it try perfetly and we pay for perfect scale that is us before God at judgement day ,azmalrese parish priest who latercon bishop dear bishop made him monsignor came to Sydneyand celebrated mass near us we went to hear msltese mass where hectold us he will be that Sunday ,i cried when i saw him ,and he said " this is no occasion of tears " then heckept moving on to other maltese who knew him ,then he came back and i said " these are tears of joy seeing you btought back to me nostalgia of back home ,it was 1986 andci said ,,," i did not go to the city to see pope st john paul but i came here to see you ,andci saidxtakexme with you in your laugage ,money is useful to pay bills and live decent life yes but their are gifts that are so alive ,only when you loose a parent or country or home you know what you lost so take no one forcgranted and ifca person wants to becleft alone than becit a somecpersons only wants you when thry loose yourcfrienship that isxptoblemetic andcperhaps is best tovleave Ever notice that some movies just "click and that some songs do the same? Then comes along a movie that clicks both boxes on the list and this is one. I've had more than a few people say this movie is too long, but the ones that say this are usually the mentally deficient ones, the types with the intelligence of goldfish. Good movies really involve you and make you part of the script. This one has bite, both during the fast as well as slow parts. The music is just plain top grade. The ever common saying in that they don't make movies like this anymore is so true. Back then, some movies were so good, you forgot you were watching a movie. This movie demonstrated when real life was lived raw, without luxuries, protections, or sometimes hope. Paint was falling off walls, food was scarce, heat/air con were an option, crime was a doorstop away and life was lived by the hour. In many parts of the world, it's still there; nothing's changed. It's called reality. Tells which way the world is going.

What a voice! What a song! I was ten years old when her song was a hit. Needless to say, I had a crush on her. Her song romanticized the restless life, and I was greatly influenced by it, and others like it, and I became a restless wanderer. I was a lost, lonely soul hitchhiking around the country in the 60s until a guy picked me up and shared Jesus Christ with me. I “sort of” settled down and have been married for 50 years. But that restless wandering heart has always been in me. Always searching. Even now I’m restless. This world isn’t my home, I’m just passing through. I have a yearning that can’t be satisfied by this world or anything in it. It's so strange, even after all these years I can hear the sound of her voice and the background music perfectly in my mind. How is that possible? Songs are such a powerful influence. Here is Gogi Grant in 1983. She still had that amazing voice--maybe even better. kzread.info/dash/bejne/eX6trq9wYbi9pMo.html

This film is the least romantic film I've seen it's about a man having an affair leaving his poor wife and children to fend for themselves, his wife had a daughter he never met his son the little boy he said he loved, he was quick to dump. Maybe back in the 60s it was classed as romantic and it was the in thing to dump your family for a "pretty girl" he's just an adulterer in my eyes But I do agree the music is good

1935, isn't it amazing that this is a world that has never yet known Sinatra, Elvis, The Beatles not even Judy Garland singing Over The Rainbow as this would happen in 1939. So much culture coming ahead of them that they have no idea about. In 1935 the world only knew about one world war! And in that small slice of time there was Fred Astaire at the top of his game.
