I'm not sure how the ones form the 90's compare. But I had a late 80's Korean made Sheraton and it was definitely better made than a 2010 Chinese made a band mate had. Felt more solid, craftsmanship was clearly better and pickups were about the same sound. But of course, there is always guitars made on a Friday afternoon, which your white one seems to be. I regret selling the Korean one. Hard to find a better value for your money if you want a 335 type.

I agree with the Friday night scenario, haha! my Maple Chinese one from 2005 was perfect and the pickups were the "HOTCH" marked ones which sounded killer clean or with Van Halen ish chunk! Even with the '97 Korean Shortcomings I kept it and sold the Maple one and I still love it! it seems to have more soul to it, especially since it came from Maui and the wet, salty air ruined the hardware and the glue holding the pickup covers on. not soldered back then i guess.

If you research various forums the general consensus is that the Korean made Sheratons are higher quality than MIC. Of course there may be exceptions but the popular vote is MIK

When you first start trying these spins do you put down a pad or anything so if you drop the gun you don’t damage it?
@renole20054 ай бұрын
Haha, well there is a bit of a story with that. 50/50, after gettin a little cocky thinkin i got it then droppin it on the tile? Ouch! That's when i got the fake one with good working action and close in weight and put matching ivory grips on both. I went through a few sets of grips so i wound up scotch taping the broken ones together the lsat time on the spin gun. I still needed the real .45 to fire the one blank into the ground at the end of the show. If i did it all over i would stay over the bed or couch or at least carpet. Oh, and plenty of baby powder on the spin finger, learned the hard way with a big blister

Great video comparison, interestingly I've got the exact same Blonde Epiphone Made in China although made in 2008, I bought it back then because it was cheap including an Epi case and sounded fantastic. I mean I was cross comparing it against Gibson 335's $5000 and up 😮 in the same shop & amp and went for it, value for money outstanding.🎉 The fit and finish is pretty much flawless like yours especially the binding. All these years later I still have and it plays like a dream. Thanks for posting, cheers from Australia 🦘🌏🎵🎸😎

I innovated one with a pistol instead of a revolver, you know, to try something different. Would you check mine out? It's called " Insane pistol gun spinning, Alan "Ascot" McDonell, from Montreal QC Canada", on KZread. Can you give me your honest opinion? I'm new at this, I did my best... I would really like if you checked mine out. Sincere salutations cowboy! 2 thumbs way up, you've got some serious talent.
