That’s good to hear. We can do this! 😊
Im 5 days out
How are you feeling?
Look at you killing it!!! Way to go!!!
Thanks so much!!! 😊
I only use miracle whip its the best.
Yes!!! I couldn’t agree more! Thanks for watching!
That chili looked so good. I was told absolutely no hot/spicy..im over hete pouting about it!!
Thank you! That hot sauce definitely set it off! Hopefully, you’ll get to eat spicy food soon!
I am going to make this cake. It looks delicious.😊
Thanks so much! Let me know how it goes!
She lost me at the miracle whip😂
🤣🤣🤣 you can always use mayo!!!
Thanks again I appreciate you videos it gives me something to look forward to. I’m still on liquids😒lol
No problem! I’m glad you find my videos helpful. Thanks so much for the support. I was so excited to get to purées just so that I could have more variety. I’m over this stage now and can’t wait for soft foods 😂
Take care of yourself go slow🙏
Thanks so much! 😊
I love your videos. My surgery was on the 17th and have never cooked much, so I'm interested to see what you make. Living on hummus and eggs at the moment. 🙂
Thanks so much! I appreciate the support! I swear I meal prep more than I did before surgery. It’s exhausting at times. I’ve been trying to make “regular food” and just blend it, but it’s certainly not the same. Surprisingly, I can’t seem to stomach eggs right now. Hummus sounds good though!
Love your videos! Keep up the great work. You are doing amazing and I wish you nothing but the best on your journey! 😊
Thank you so much!! I really appreciate the support! 😊
I'm so proud of you! You are coming along very well. You motivate me more and more each day. Thank you for encouraging me on my journey 🙌🏾 Keep up the amazing work as usual. I'm excited for Us. Yesss and tell Skinnygirl to run you your money and syrup ‼️
You are amazing, beautiful, powerful & encouraging. I pray Blessings and favor over you. Thank you for you transparency and allowing us into your journey. I am a week away and nervous and excited all in one. So happy for you.
Thank you so much! I’m so proud of you too! Welcome to the other side! I appreciate all the support you’ve given me. I hope all is well on your end. We got this!
Good luck and continued sucess, that was the worst stage for me, its so gross omg. I survived on ricotta bakes, cream of wheat and greek yogurt. The thought of puree gives me the ICK!!
Thank you for this! I’m trying to figure out what else I can eat that won’t upset my stomach 😢
@roxirosie841 the only meat I puree was ground turkey and sauce to make the ricotta bake, I ate applesauce, cream of wheat, mashed sweet potatoes, Tuna salad with light mayo, scrambled eggs, mashed banana, and strained soup. Hopefully it goes by fast for you. This stage is so gross to me so I kept eating the same thing along with my protein shakes.
Thank you!!! I’m trying to make the best of the purée stage, but I definitely can’t wait for it to be over 🤣🤣🤣
@roxierosie841 thanks so much for watching. I’m sorry your stomach has been upset. What foods have you tried so far?
Thanks for sharing! I will be at that stage next week.
Thanks so much for watching! I hope you find this content helpful as you continue on your journey!
Now the chili I can do blended, I don’t know about my chicken and pork chops. 😂😂😂 thanks for sharing, I’ve been following your process as I prepare for surgery on 8/15/24
I’m doing the same following her process. We almost surgery twins, my surgery date is 8/13
Thanks so much for watching! The blended chili was by far the best meal! The chicken breast didn’t do it for me at all lol! 😂 The pork chop was decent. I plan to do fish this upcoming week since I don’t have to purée that
Thanks so much for watching!!!
How long on puréed diet?
Two weeks
I wish I could have a few right now. I’ll have to substitute the peanut butter. I need an allergy friendly version. Great recipe and they look yummy.
Thanks! They have so many alternatives that taste pretty good. You could try Wow butter
Girl, those Brussels sprouts are going on! That meal plan ur on looks delicious!
Thank you! They were delicious! 😋
I just ran across your video today. We had the same surgery day. Started my purees this past Wednesday. Wishing you success on your new lifestyle.

Do you have any weight loss updates?
Yes, I plan to share that at my 1 month update.
How was the Froot Loops protein shake?
It was delicious! I could really taste the Froot Loops. I highly recommend.
Thx for the recipes
No prob. Thanks for watching!
I’m going to have to try this cottage cheese chips. I don’t like cottage cheese either
It was actually pretty good. I got tired of it after a while though.

Keep pushing it's worth it 👍
Thanks so much! 😊
Flipped too soon
Thanks for your feedback! I’m not a pancake expert lol
Looks lovely 😍 thank you, keep em coming ❤
Thanks so much!!! 😊
U could have stuffed that with just different seasoning no need of anything else I mean was that food for humans with that much of seasoning come stop cooking or learn cooking
Thanks for your feedback. You can always put as much or as little seasoning as you want. You must like bland food
I seen your tire cover in traffic on highway today, thought I'd check the channel, cookies look great !🤤🤤🤤
Thanks so much for watching!
I am so glad to see you. July 16 is my consult day and I am nervous, but excited. I praying that it don't be aong process or expensive process. My insurance has already approved I contacted them first and they gave me a list of doctors so I am excited.
Thanks so much for the support! How did your consult go? I totally understand how you feel. This process is so life-changing. Insurance approval is a good first step. As long as you stay committed to the process, you'll be good. Always remember why you decided to start to make these changes. You got this! Let me know if you have any questions.
Hey girl heyy, I have pcos as well and my period came 2 days off the table😮…I was on birth control b4 but I wasn’t on it at time of surgery . I had to take lovenox for 30 days but it didn’t have anything to do with my cycle. July 20th I will be 4 months post op and my cycle comes like clockwork now. My primary, my nutritionist and my surgeon says that’s normal. It was very annoying to deal with a heavy cycle and just a few days post op but I was happy to see some non scale victories starting immediately so HAPPY PERIOD 🩸AND HAPPY POOPS 💩
Hey girl!!! 30 days of lovenox?! Aw man, I'm sorry you experienced that. I'm happy to hear that your cycle is regular now. Yes, I'm so happy that I can see some immediate non scale victories too. It's such a relief! Happiness all the way around! Thanks so much for the support :)
Heyy!! Im so proud of how well you are doing. You know your videos keep me calm as I approach my own surgery date. BUT Lets talk about this slimming face Yassss! You are doing it. I can tell. If you dont believe me, look at your older videos and and now. You doing that hunty and im here for it 🙌🏾 keep up the amazing work 🩷
Awww thanks so much! :) I really appreciate the kind words. Yassss this hard work is starting to pay off. I'm glad it's starting to show lol. Thanks again! I'll be thinking of you as surgery day gets closer!
@@TricesTastyEats I appreciate that! Thanks. I also sent you a ques in ur IG DM
@Mika-vsg-journey no problem! I just responded to your message!
Menstrual Cycle coming for PCOS patients that has just had VSG is very common. You can look it up.
Thank you! I looked it up and talked about it with the nurse at my post-op appointment to day. She said this is a good sign :)
I’m having my surgery in AUGUST and your videos have been helpful. Glad you are feeling better.
OMG....Are you sacred?
@@iffy98 lil nervous but not scared maybe that will change once the date get closer
Thanks so much! I hope your surgery goes well! Time will go by so fast!

I was discharged July 10th also!! Congrats!!
Thanks so much! Same to you! How are you feeling? I hope all is well on your journey!
@@TricesTastyEats just having clear liquids is killing me. 😔
I’m on my 5th day . Not supposed to start my purer til tomorrow but it’s been hard! We in it together!
Yes, we can do this! How are you feeling? I hope all is well on your journey!
@@TricesTastyEats I’m doing better, still bothersome and some pain. I feel I lack support on the protein part as I get distracted and realize 3 hrs later I haven’t finished my protein breakfast. It’s been a little had but I’m hanging in there. How is it going for you?
I made these today so delicious!!!
I’m glad you enjoyed them!
Looks great!!
Thanks so much!
Congratulations! You tolerated surgery well and each day you appear to be gaining strength.
Thanks so much! Yes, I’m getting better and stronger each day. I appreciate your support!
Congratulations Trice! I am so happy to see you are moving along and doing well. Please definitely take it slow no rush. My surgery day is 7/24 and boi im trying to not be too anxious about it and keep calm. I love watching your journey as it helps me to see what i have to look forward to so thank you 🩷
Thanks so much for the support and kind words. I’m trying to take it one day at a time. This is really hard mentally. I’m so excited that you got your surgery date! It will be here before you know it! That pre-op diet ain’t no joke! Please let me know if I can answer any questions.
@@TricesTastyEatsyou ain't never lied about this pre-op diet 😩 I'm able but stricted like you were for pre-op but able to have chicken and fish but no red meat. Even with eating meat because it's not what I want it's hard but I'm trying one day at a time, right!
Congratulations to you and I hope you have a speedy recovery! Go slow and try your best to stay hydrated to avoid constipation. Also, remember to space your calcium citrate from your multivitamin or the iron in your multivitamin will cancel out the calcium. You probably already know this but…..🎉🙏🏽💪🏽💐
Also, I am surprised you were told to incorporate soft foods already. Well, not all programs practice the same pre or post op dietary guidelines.
Thanks so much! I’ve definitely learned from my mistakes! I appreciate the support and suggestions!
My diet is still considered “full liquid” for the first two weeks. They consider pudding, cream of wheat, grits, and applesauce to be liquids for some strange reason. Everything has to be very thin and runny though. Thanks for watching!
Sis, Pain meds causes constipation
I heard…unfortunately 😞 I’m trying to be mindful of that. I finally had a movement yesterday, and it’s been steady since then 🙌🏾
Hello Trice, Please don't drink anything fast, because it will make you sick! take it slow, sip, sip and sip. I'm 7 weeks out, and everyday it get better! Congrats on having the surgery.
Hey!!! Thank you! Yes, I definitely learned my lesson because my stomach was not happy with me yesterday. Slow and steady is best.
