Mine just broke 300k. It likely just started having a head gasket issue on the firewall side due to a clogged cat. If I had the patience to pull the engine and do all the gaskets and timing chain I know it would go over a half million. Engine sounds perfect when I rev it. My xB has 241k, wife’s xB has 291k and I have two trucks. One is a Silverado 2003 with 196k, and the other is an 84 s-10. True mileage unknown. Pretty sure it’s over 300k. Definitely more money went into the pickups than the Toyotas.
I have the same noise in my 07 Silverado with 498K miles. I now think its the starter but haven't checked it out yet. Too cold and wet outside. Have you found the cause yet?
I looking for manual transmission
You may be able to modify this version, but I know it won’t work out of the box for manual transmission. There’s one that I heard about, but it is something else to set up. And every time you get out of the car, you have to do a specific sequence to make it work.
Best car I’ve ever owned.
I believe it. I’m not a fan of how it handles. Kinda rolly and mushy. But still overall ok. My other car is a 2009 Scion xB which is a Toyota as well. Has 241k. Owned since 2010. Only been in shop once for AC issue that I caused. Not the car. One alternator, clock spring, radiator bypass tube (I broke), and other than that just basic stuff. Tires, brakes and batteries. Great cars.
My 2008 lexus RX350 broke 300k last month everything still works great. Even more crazy it its a snow belt car and the only rust on the entire car is under the license plate.
Southern car here. Zero rust! These are certainly better guilt that regular Toyota models.
California car here. My 16.5YO son just inherited a 08 RX350 AWD from my wife, 160k miles are still runs like a champ after 16 years in the family. Just bought her a 2024 NX350h, parks along side with my 2017 ES350. Lexus family for life. 😊
@@jml9550 That one’s just getting started. My 08 isn’t perfect by any stretch, but it still runs incredibly well for a car with that kind of mileage.
@@theoriginaljimmykicker great to hear. I had all spark plugs and 3 rear coils replaced at 120k miles as well. My daughter will drive it when she gets her license in 2 years. Then my son will get my ES.
Please update us when you hit 500k or a short video right when it turns 500k
Definitely!!
Limbaugh just yelled and screamed that I was threatening them in the middle of the dealership.... and I recorded the whole thing. Clearly, I was not threatening them, but I did tell them if they keep behaving aggressively I will be filing some complaints/1-stars... Crooked.... Glad I recorded that to protect me....
Was this the body shop? The guy that ran that when I was there was a total douché.
I had a friend who had one and i saw her dash that shit was almost 270k
And Jesus? That car is just getting warmed up!!
That ain’t nothing. It’ll run 600K miles no problem. Obviously gotta maintain everything including parts. It’ll definitely run.
@@tpp4007damn right. I’m going to baby it. Next goal is the 500k mile Lexus service.
@@tpp4007 600K? I mean, it's that's barely past the break-in period.
