  I am not sure wherther it is you who should improve your presentation and video skills I find it staggering people can just turn oo the camera and record without checking the lighting and so on.

  @@ailtvonline3121 that's just one RGB Panel that's all. I stepped down my exposure coz of the window. There is more room for improvement thanks for the feedback though. Note also this is very raw video, not much editing and I was very intentional with the light and the edit.

  Interesting though it's never a fair comparison coz cameras are dedicated to video and photo and a phones are dedicated to communication. So there are so many limitations on smartphones in that regard however for convenience, the phones are better. We'll see what we can do

  By the way, that p3 d65 is just a wide color gamut. It’s only particularly useful if you really need flexibility between broadcast systems like TV, theatres, and web upload. Even then it’s not necessary as rec2020 already has that covered and it’s more widely recognized. I only know what it is because I looked it up when you brought it up in this video lol

  🤔I didn’t even know there WAS BM Camera app…not like this one anyway…just for the iPhone….might try it out since I sometimes am disappointed in the lack of control over settings in the regular camera app.

  I just got dropped frames on a 45 minute recording on a hike with relatively high temps at about the 20minute mark. Will see about quitting all apps and freeing up even more space. I would mount an SSD, but not sure if it will work with the DJI Osmo 6. The homeless problem in the SF Bay area has been brutal for years. Prayers up!

  Thanks for you kind comment, yeah houselessness is such a big problem in North America. Yah for the BMC app. Phkne always heats up and even a message pops saying I have to wait till device cools down and some moments can't wait or else you miss the shot..

  Absolutely as far as I know.. Coz I use it on my iPhone 12 pro, 256GB. So with your Promax it should work.. I made a video on that, just check the channel and you will know how to avoid and manage overheating.

  @@snubdawg1386 I don't make long videos but why would you make long videos at 60fps and 4k, that definitely is going to overheat your device, even professional cameras shooting with those specs over heat... I'm curious, what kind of long videos do you shoot?

  ​@@Extraedit without the blackmagic app, 30min+ videos in 4k/60fps are no problem on iphone 12 pro max...also on galaxy s21 ultra....i'm often filming in a pretty hot place, not once iphone 12 pro max or s21 ultra overheated...but with the blackmagic app, iphone always overheats around 10min ...i'm recording all kinds of stuff...stresstesting computers or recording conversations, similar to podcasts, ...

  @@snubdawg1386 my advice is don't shoot at 60fps only if you need slow motion video. 4k 24/30fp should be good enough. HEVC would be ideal coz it's file sizes are smaller compared to H.264, but there is a catch with that.. I made a video on it . Titled The difference between H.264 and H.265, and why you must be careful! Also for the over heating check my other video titled.. The blackmagic camera app actually drops frames, and what should you do?

  Both look horrendous, as the color grading is way off. And you shoot at 30 fps, but upload at 24 fps, which leads to stuttering, when you're panning. So how can i take you serious?!

  If you use a hub, and connect a USB mic to the hub like a rode NTG, then connect a USB headphone into the same hub, the added USB device, in this case the headphones, will override the mic , knock it offline - u can't have both - BM needs to get serious about audio

  @@Extraedit nah i''m not sure...that's why i'm asking because you mention it at 6:11 ....bought the iphone12 pro max just for filming videos and the blackmagic app....unfortunately the phone gets way too hot with the blackmagic app...stops recording after 10min...recording without the app 1hour 4k/60fps is no problem

  @@snubdawg1386 yeah that's true the app makes the phone over heat and after a message pops up" device too hot" something like that. Very annoying. the same happens with my new sony a6700. Its the processing power and the build the fact that phones are sealed for water proofing.

  Go question. Sony does not provide a charger with this a6700 unit because the charging port is a USB Type -C. So I charged the camera using a phone USB type c code

  Great video, I'm trying to do a masking and zoom into an eyeball. I want the iris and pupil to be replace by a video of the universe with moving elements. Then I want to zoom into that universe. How should I accomplish this?

  You need to mask the iris just a few seconds toward the end of the clip, and then apply key frames for the feathering and expansion to reveal the earth clip below . Hard to put in words than showing it . Maybe I do a tutorial on that
