It's the battery on the rack causing it on the newest 2024 model
Second battery is not needed...after 30 miles you want to get off of it....They should have offered it as a backward compatible option
@Silverado2021 I ride with both right now to get used to it for range my Mother's house is far but not to far so I love that it came with it I can always ride without... but, that's just me ... options right?🤔😁
I have the death wobble as well, I order the lime green color. But I heard it can be fixed by tightening the stem or by ordering the Hellbender 70 Visco. Its claims to brings new patented steering stabilizing technology to a wide variety of cycling disciplines. Designed to reduce high-frequency oscillation of the bicycle steering assembly, known as speed wobble. 🤷🏾♂️ I’m just patiently waiting for solutions because it’s kinda of dangerous. I want to attach a bike seat for my toddler but I’m afraid. But of that said I still love my bike🤭
@@anthonyeanes2550 cool thanks for the information 👍
Still waiting on mine. Same color.
@@dheller777 it was worth the wait for me. 😆 🤣 😂
Looks like your rear fender is bent like mine was while it was in transit. They've already sent me a new one without any hesitation. I see people here asking about the wobbling. I've never had any wobble. CitizenCycle did a pretty good video about it. He determined in was from the weight of the battery being on the rear rack. He applied weight to other ebikes and most did the same thing. Seems like it's only an issue with no hands on the handlebars.
@@KevinJSharp I don't know if you're talking about the middle.That's how it's made but I don't know if it's crooked from the back.Or not l o l
@@Thisis4theByrds Naw, it's kinked, not made that way. Where it attaches to the bar on the rear rack is where it's bent. The fender should be about 3/4" of an inch from the tire all the way around evenly. When I received mine, the rear rack wasn't bolted on the lower arms and I assume that it had been dropped. The box didn't seem to be damaged. Mine was bent so bad it was preventing me to bolt the racks lower mounting arms to the frame. Even the upper arms had been bent. I had to unbolt the upper arms, bolt the lower arms first, then bend the thinner upper arms back in place so I could put the bolts in. After seeing yours was bent like mine, I'm sure they have had a lot of others report the same issue. Looks like mine was bent a little more than yours though. Not a deal breaker, but they sent me a new one right away. I sent them an email & they answered the same day. I took the damaged one off without removing the rear wheel, but it was a pain. Will need to remove the wheel to put the new one on (which I still haven't done). Just keep in mind, you need to loosen the shift controller, and the power switch on the handle bars when you flip the bike upside down to prevent damage. Not realizing this, I cracked the controllers housing a little from not loosening it keeping the bikes weight off it. I've just been riding it without a rear fender, I've just been careful when riding through water. I plan on puttting the new fender on whenever I need to take the rear wheel off for some reason.
@KevinJSharp OK thanks
Finally got mine .. this thing is a beast!!
@@brett7740 Happy for you, my friend enjoy your bike.Stay safe out there
try raising your seat
Sorry I said Sherry her name is Shelley Duvall she was in the Shinning.
Citizen Cycle did a vid on the wobble and tested like 10 bikes and every one of them did it with weight on the back. It's not a design issue and it's not a specific brand issue, it's weight distribution and a non-issue. If you ride 30mph without hands on the bar then you're looking for trouble. I got mine for my 50th birthday present to myself! I have almost 100 miles on it since July 8th and I LOVE it! I've ridden all over my little town, from one end to the other and back and all around. There's a couple of places I have to be careful because the speed limit is 20mph and 35mph, I've caught myself speeding lol. I swapped the seat for a Schwin that doesn't have the crotch thingy, the stock seat is fine, I just prefer where this one hits, if ya know what I mean. I can ride much longer. It's very hilly in my area and I am on a very long incline and this thing rips right up it.
@stoffel6348 my thoughts exactly be safe know what you're riding and know how to ride it ... Thanks for the love and stay safe out there happy and safe riding to you my friend enjoy your bike
Does it have 2771UL certified batteries?
What about the wobble? There is too much play in the front fork and the rear swing arms according to a good number of reviewers. See how much they wiggle by trying to make it happen.
I just got mine in black. I love it. Good luck with yours
@boomer2264 Thanks you too enjoy your bike and be safe
wired will send you a new fender for that bent one. also if you mount the headlight bracket to the back of the crossbar it won't flop down on you and there are screws on both sides of the bracket if it comes loose which it will.
@timothywarehime5956 the fender is made like that but thanks for the love and as always safety first 👍✌️
I was going to order one, but I've seen videos of it wobbling, and they claim it's a big problem. Have you experienced any wobbling at all?
The motor is rated at 1500w continuous ...anything above 1500 watts you are burning up the motor....anything higher than 35mph is too fast for that bike....you are risking your safety and other peoples safety. I have mine limited to 35mph and will ride that speed for less than 30 seconds. I ride my bike 20 or 30 miles and i can't wait to get off of it...The second battery is not necessary and should be offered as an option. I never use PAS 3 or higher....I give it a little throttle if i need a little more speed. I never ride on the road...too many people are getting killed...Very fun bike!!
GET A HELMET.....Think about your family if something happens..
Off subject…you know what’s crazy, that the city/county won’t just repave that road but instead they’ll just keep coming out over and over to make stupid repairs until it looks like a roadmap of America 😂
@mattsmith3001 yeah I know right?.. but if they actually fix it they won't have anything to do...lol

Have you had any issues with bike wobbling at high speeds?
No I have shook my bike to get it to wobble in the back but you have to be turning or jerking the bike pretty hard back and forth
Death wobble pile of shit. It’s sad people fall for buying these bikes. They are so inferior.

@jodythomas that's a thing with my daughter she loves making Byrd brain shorts I think her little skits are cute and I think it is great that she comes up with little ideas I love doing them with her She wants to do one every time we go to the park which is fine with me. But I understand if it's not your cup of tea. But her random little skits will be feature on my channel
@@Thisis4theByrds it is my cup of tea. My son and I do goofy things like that all the time. We try to out do each other. When we see the other do something really funny we usually say “ummm, ok” It just something my son and I do to have fun. I have a KZread channel which has a lot of random stuff on it. By the way, her skit was very creative.
You gave your daughter a ride on the newer wired , the rack is not a child seat, it’s rated for 50 pounds and with the rear battery you reduced it to 38 pounds , your daughter is definitely weight more than 50 pnds. With no foot rest you are very irresponsible to put your daughter on a E-bike. I noticed you turned off comments on that video giving your daughter a ride, don’t say safety first first when it’s clearly not, get helmets , you can be prosecuted for being irresponsible child endangerment. We have video of it.
@DaveGonzales-qz4ks it's a very sturdy rack that's what we were Demonstrating for another viewer

You have a wobble? They are going crazy over this.
@sonofevil77 I keep getting the same question and all I can say is... I don't notice a wobble per say but I can feel the difference in weight when the back battery is in... only in the turns but as with everything you get used to how your bike handles Thanks for the question
@@Thisis4theByrds when I get my bike I'm going to play with suspension settings and see what's what.
@sonofevil77 Yeah I set mine up for my weight which was easy because I weight 165 And it's pretty much already set up for my weight.Just a little tweaking here and there
Do you get any wobble with or without the rear battery?
@cwarnerg I don't get a wobble but you notice the weight difference but I ride with both batteries so I'm used to how my bike feels fully equipped Yes, it's a note school weight. Drop when the second battery is not on the back. And handles differently, but as long as you my guest with your turn radius and how you lean into turns.Whether it's on the back or not , you get used to the weight or lack of weight
Should get mine shortly just want to ask if your having any wobble at top speed with both batteries installed ? Someone on facebook complaind that they were having this issue .
@Busdathead I have road mine with both battery in the whole time so I have Gotten used to the way the bike handles. It's a big bike and if you know physics. And top heaviness, you're going to fill the weight of the battery at the top and the back when you turn, but like I told another viewer. Watch your turn radius and the way you lean it to your turns. You'll get used to it as far as the handling of the bike as with all things new. You have to adjust. But as far as a Complaint.. I wouldn't consider that a complaint for me. I know How Thing's work and I. Adjust accordingly. There's going to be a trade-off with weight in the back.Just like with cargo and that is like cargo But of course without it in the back it's a noticeable weight drop
I'm waiting for a lime green step through right now. Hope to have soon. The bike looks pretty big next you!
@Beltfedshooters it is but it's not two big for me And I wanted a big bike I like the height and how I sit upright on it and I feel a little more comfortable on a big bike in traffic. I feel a little more visible and confident on my ride. And with the power to boot, it was a no-brainer. Thanks for your interest in my content and I hope you enjoy the videos. Stay safe out there
