@Kakashi Sensei I'm on console, PS5... First you need to set the HDR settings to your preferences there before the in-game HDR settings.
I'm mostly trying to make it so my viewers don't need to adjust their own screen brightness

It looks like you can get some kills with the B-Wing, but that ship’s stats are terrible. If anything, the ship can do damage against capital ships and subsystems with the right auxiliaries. For dogfights, it doesn’t really have a good amount of maneuverability or speed. Maneuverability can’t be increased, speed can be increased with the Thrust Engine but it brings down your maneuverability even more. Unstable Engine could increase speed but it makes your ship weaker with less health and shields. It’s a complicated thing.
That guided laser cannon won’t do you any good. Sure it has an aim assist feature as long as the target is within the circle however, it won’t do a lot of damage even when overcharged.

It seems your throttle is slippery. Have you ever tried to turn on the Throttle Friction so it doesn’t go too fast, and tried the Throttle Sensitivity at 66% or 67%? It’ll help you out a lot to reach half speed without going overboard.
Well now I see the problem, you have the Throttle Input Mode set to Static instead of Dynamic. Dynamic is good for controllers, but if what you have works well for you then that’s good.
It’s cool that you use power to lasers to get a lot of damage out, but it’ll make you slow. You’ll be taken down in no time.
Yeah, I haven't fully embraced the HOTAS yet, so my go to is the controller. The best drift turns are achieved at half throttle, so when I release the stick, it defaults to half so I don't need to be as accurate, plus there's no need to look away to check its position. Thanks for the input, I may switch thing's up a bit 👌
@@Imperial8933 I go full power to blasters, and rely on power shunting for boost. It works well in Imperial ship's that don't have active shields equipped
@@ODGgaming1577 You’re right but you’re still less maneuverable. The power to engines can help you turn faster, especially with half speed. Power shunting may give you the boost but that doesn’t make you harder to hit.

Strictly dogfighting, easier to find a match compared to fleet battles... It's not dead yet, it has its cult followers... thank you for viewing

Interesting work with the Plasburst Cannon here. Remember that it can do even more damage if you charge it up while your weapon power is maxed and you have overcharge in your weapons energy meter. There are also times in this video (like at 9:00 onwards) where you could have used your Repair System to gain back some hitpoints but didn't. Also, Cluster Missiles do the most damage when you fire all four at one target. Wait for all four green dots to turn bright green before firing your Cluster Missiles at one target.

@@ODGgaming1577 You're welcome. Unfortunately this game doesn't do a good job of explaining how the various starfighter components work. It really needed a full-on game manual explaining how everything works, like the older "X-Wing" games did. Unfortunately, it's unlikely many gamers today would bother to read a long game manual, and "Star Wars: Squadrons" is very far from a "pick-up-and-play" game.

@@Mazryonh I'm playing on the PS5, stock controller shipped... 27 in UHD 4K monitor.... It was very difficult learning the flight scheme, mapping out buttons, and I still need to do some fine tuning on the sticks 🤯🤣
