  Wow, Montana sure is high class. The hiliday inn has a pool and water slide. Here in crappy ny if you want to get wet at the holiday Inn you have to go in the parking lot and jump in the mud puddles, lol. Glad you all had action and fun, good luck in the future.

  Haha I do have friends like this and it’s one of the best things in life! We have been doing it for years and it’s the highlight of the year for all of us. Congrats to an awesome time with your buds! Can someone explain to me what counting points has to do with enjoying life, good friends, and Gods creation? Not sure I understands some of y’all’s limited viewpoints and narrow mindedness…..

  Thank you! Yeah you’ll get that when you put anything hunting related out. Lots of self-righteous hunters out there that are perfect in their minds and think that only perfect hunts should be put out on video. Negativity almost always comes from somebody that has never put a video out of their own, which I find hilarious. People that spend the time to create something fun to watch are generally positive people.

  hey, did you guys get those tested for CWD? It's getting bad in that area. It takes a bit so you still bone out and take em home but have to wait to see what the results are. Or if you are in the group who doesn't care than you just eat and don't worry. Where you from in W. Wa? Congrats looks like you pulled 2 yrs in a row. Getting hard for the general out of state :)

  I don’t think any of us got our meat tested. We stopped at the inspection station and they said they weren’t concerned with deer from the unit we were hunting. Sent us on our way. Yeah we were lucky to draw two years in a row. This time we drew as a group of 5, plus 1 that hit the alternate list. The year before we didn’t draw as a group, but 3 of us hit the alternate list and 2 had doe tags.

  You all need to take a class on what a mature buck looks like. Are deer population doesn't have a chance anymore little more help from Montana fish and game would be nice. Look at what Wyoming has done too protect its big game. These guys should be ashamed of themselves. Good old days are gone and lost forever

  Well, I can’t speak much for quality, but there’s definitely not a quantity issue. Deer everywhere out there, and a good amount of mature bucks. We talked to a game warden who was satisfied with the deer numbers in the area. In the end it’s about hunting and having a good time, and if the deer population is healthy then we’ll take what we can get.

  @rowancarey4803 if we had a real FWP that actually gave a shit about a resource and not about making money we wouldn't be in the position we're in. There's better deer in Idaho and it's a lot closer for you. Maybe you should hunt there. I don't care to hunt Washington it sucks.

  @@jonasmt8588 well, I don’t know what to tell you. We saw more deer than we could count on this trip. Plenty of nice bucks. Hopefully your state isn’t issuing more tags than they can handle. The game warden we met and talked to didn’t think there was a population issue.

  Super cool vid, those are some awesome bucks! Love the cinematic shots and music too. It was neat to see the terrain and landscape there, as I'm planning a hunt this fall north of the border in Alberta for Whitetails (or Mulies if I can get drawn tag). Are the tags in Montana on a lottery draw?

  Glad you liked it! I love a little cinematic flare to my videos. Yeah we put in for a lottery as a group draw. This past season we drew as a group. Two years ago we didn’t draw, but 3 of us ended up drawing tags on the alternate list.

  Thanks! This is a 15x18 tent with 5 foot walls. We added another 15x12 to the back of this tent for this season as a bunk tent. I’ll have another Montana video coming out soon.

  Thanks, it’s a sweet set up! We use a dewalt power station. It’ll run the string lights and charge our phones for a few days, even ran a projector on it for movies, then we recharge it with a small gas generator. Makes it really nice. We don’t have to run a generator for lights all the time.
