Glad ppl think about this at a higher level, this is how ive always tried to think about as sombra whether by adding more value to my team ults (sombra seems to make any allied ult more effective) or preparing to deal w dangerous enemy ults. Overall knowing which team wins the ult battle as soon as you enter the fight, and which enemy supp cooldowns to burn beforehand. Ig the issue for me is remembering and maintaining composure. Would recommend making a non-ult matchup guide especially for high mobility chars, for example a sort of matchmaking table where first part of the fight may consist of enemy dps contesting allied supps, allied tank diving enemy supps, and so on, then determining the victor based on the winners of these micro-matchups (do people play like this in scrims?) Absolutely true, preparing for an upcoming fight (esp an important ULT exchange) is great pro habit. It is hard to do it every game due to memory and fatigue. With solid practise you could outplay enemies tactically before the fight even begins. The dva vs zarya video work will be resumed shortly (skeleton of vid done). Also have a vod review by a coach on my scrim dva (ow1) that might answer some of those questions

I swear, when I think of overwatch I picture a casual, simple game. But every time I encounter a person this dedicated to a character and all the minuscular details of its gameplay I get reminded of how deep, difficult and passionate it is. This is amazing, you are an absolute machine!

More please! I love shotcalling. I miss the endorsement categories, because I am really good at it. Overwatch is so much more fun when your team is communicating. It helps to listen, even if you don't want to say anything. Being in the voice channel will improve your winrate, trust me!

Soo true about team communication (I also miss the endorsement categories, a dominant yellow bar meant that the player was on the next level of amazing amidst a sea of purple and green)

@@Fapelele Looking forward to it; at the highest level (both tanks being optimal) is dva winnable against zar or somewhat disadvantageous? At what point does the team comps make you think it becomes necessary to swap?

@faraaziqbal8302 It depends on quite a few things tbh, but fundamentally it boils down to each team's prefight default approach and midfight effective (switching) target focus, how well both tanks counter play each other's ults and exploiting map control (hopefully the upcoming video answers all questions! Don't hesitate to ask in the comments of that video). Essentially, how much easier it is for one of the tanks to kill the other tank's teammates. Some maps favour Dva alot more than Zarya (example Numbani 1st point), or vise-versa (example Lijang Tower Control Center) or equal (example Eichwalde 1st).

this is honestly the best example of shotcalling i've come across! i think the subtitles giving extra context as to why you're saying them is really really helpful! far too often when i shotcall i find myself getting caught up on comming things that don't actually give my team important information (for example, shouting "REIN ONE" over and over) over things that would actually help them to target the right people! this is such high quality information, and i think the way you communicate it with examples rather than explaining it in a vastly simplified is really helpful for me to understand it! thank you so much for making these, they're incredibly helpful!

ult is obtained about every 2 fights; if ult isnt used previous fight then they have it

In simple terms, Sombra is an opportunist who strikes when the time is right essentially. She does what she needs to do and gets out with her translocator. This video tells you how to counter sombra, but it also tells you how to have a better approach for sombra.
