  There is no point for the people in Sanctuary to be good or evil because heaven and hell have nothing to do with humans' existence or their souls. Lilith's way is the only right way. What's the end goal of both heaven and hell-to make people follow their own linear paths? Nothing. Heaven and Hell, even the angel Tyrael, are just fueling the eternal conflict to keep it going forever. Heaven and hell are bent on imposing each of their wills on humans for their own gain, while humans are reduced to just slaves. Heaven's purpose is to combat hell, and vice versa; maybe people should do their purpose too to end all bullshit.
