  It was my pleasure and honestly thank you for making this! I really love the concept and the game has a great mix of story and action, really took me back to the old school vibes of the first Resident Evil and Silent Hill games. And wow the fixed camera shots were sooooo good!! Can't wait for the full release!

  I still have a PlayStation 5 but I sold my Series X and got the PC since I can still play all the xbox stuff on it anyway. Plus having access to Steam has been cool. Lots of games on there.

  Glen was different in Rebirth than he acts in Ever Crisis. But I guess he was older and became more like he was over time much like how Sephiroth changed.

  I could be for sure. Its all just theory at this point. However, the alternative would be Cloud's dad was just one of the humanish monsters that were found in and around the Nibel reactor which is kind of boring imo. The thing that bugs me is why insert this guy Glenn into to the story at all if he is not going to be super important? Why give him this super strong bond with Sephiroth?

  As far we know Cloud would rejoice at the chance to smack his father around for leaving his mom to provide for the house and raise him on her own, if he isn't just some dead guy that is.

  Plot Twist would be Sepheroth is actually Cloud's Dad! Cloud is a Jackpot in all aspect except one... Sepheroth's Control & Influence on him. Sepheroth were designed from Jenova's cells during his Embryo State... So he was Unique. Other SOLDIER failed the Hybrid Experiments as we've seen across our play-through in Hojo & Shinra facilities when we faced them as defected products. So other SOLDIER like Zack, were made through a lesser mean (to ensure they survive the transformation) than what were used on Sepheroth, which make them weaker & lesser version of SOLDIER compare to Sepheroth. Hojo later, found a way to break through this, by making new Generation Stronger & Better than Sepheroth... Thus Cloud & Zack were first subject & only subjects to this unique experiment that he later deemed failure & abandon. Zack was already a SOLDIER, his body reject the new experiment to which Hojo deemed a failure. Cloud on the other hand, successfully passed experiments which making him the Newest & Strongest of all SOLDIER but weren't able to wake up and seemingly fallen in comatose state, so Hojo deemed him a Failure too and abandon both of them. Thus Hojo abandon this Strategy and never used it again, which make Cloud, the ONLY TRUE POWERFUL SOLDIER. During this period, Zack would told an unconscious Cloud of his history, to which Cloud unknowingly, mistaken it as his own. Downside of Cloud's transformations is the fact that he was designed to be Better & Stronger than Sepheroth, so out of fear for losing control on New & Improved SOLDIER, The Experiments were designed specifically to bound Cloud to be remained under Sepheroth's control because it was well understood at the time, that Sepheroth will not be able to physically overcome the new SOLDIER. So they design a Mental-link Control. That's why Sepheroth can influence Cloud & other SOLDIER sometimes. But during Cloud & Tifa fallen into Life-stream, it seemed to help severed the ties between Cloud & Sepheroth for good.

  This is an awesome theory and I agree with most of it. Are you talking about when Tifa walks Cloud through his memories in the OG game as the point where the bond with Sephiroth is cut ?

  @@FUJINFACE Yeah... It was the lore of the old game. That's all about I can remember. I can't remember much of it. And PS1 version is too shitty to play again. Now I cannot play any slow pace game. I guess I've become too old. I need fast pace action, that's I stop following all FF series until they released Real-time Combat with FFXV where I picked it up again. But I sure do remember that Cloud far surpassed other SOLDIER due to Hojo secret experiment that were only ever done Cloud & Zack and experiment were done behind everyone's back too because he captured both of them secretly and that's why no one knew about Cloud. Both were held in Glass Chambers next to each other and somehow, Zack was able to break free after Hojo abandon them or was it due to Avalanche cause Reactors to explode? I can't remember. And Zack carried an unconscious Cloud with him and telling him his life story until he reached Mid-gar and were killed off by Shinra. And the downside of the experiment was Sepheroth's control. As Zack & other earlier waves of SOLDIER weren't effected by Sepheroth. Only Cloud & Later Generation do. It was a backdoor designed by Shinra to ensure that no matter how powerful new SOLDIER are, Sepheroth will always able to control them. I haven't completed Rebirth yet... But in old game, there was a point in game where Cloud became a Puppet and was fully under Sepheroth's control. However... I couldn't figure out why Cloud so obsessed with Sepheroth and why Sepheroth is very obsessed with Cloud. The only option I could think of, it's Sepheroth being Cloud's Dad... I mean... Cloud is a small time SOLDIER who never even officially made SOLDIER... Why would Sepheroth was so obsessed with Cloud? Unless they both suffered from Blood-ties Enemies Syndrome where they tried to kill each other because they were related. There is similar condition where Parent & Children s3xually attracted to each other. Only in this case, Cloud & Sepheroth want to kill each other. I can't remember the key detail in Hojo's new version of SOLDIER. I know he study Sepheroth but I am not sure..... if I were to guessed... I think Hojo used Sepheroth Gene to do incest with Jenova Gene in order to produce a Superior SOLDIER strain that was later used on Cloud. If Cloud's SOLDIER Strains, came from Mixture of Sepheroth & Jenova, that would make both of them somewhat Parents to Cloud... if we played by the rule on how Jenova became Sepheroth's mother. And that would explain why Sepheroth is so obsessed with killing Cloud, because Lion... do try to kill their Cups to remain in Powers. Because it never made sense to me on why Sepheroth is so keen on following Cloud because if anybody with a blood for him to pick, it would be with Shinra.

  @@FUJINFACE Yeah... I was born in late 80s. Things were good then. But even then... FF weren't Top of my list. What's Top of my list was Tenchu & Resident Evil series. It was only after I ran out of game to play.. that I picked up on Chocobo Race, that lead to Chocobo Lores... which let to FF7 and all its related games. Now too much shits going on, I can't play those PS1 games anymore... That being said... I seemed to recall vividly now, that Cloud's SOLDIER strains might came from incestuous hybrid of Sepheroth & Jenova. There was Character in FF7 Advance Children, the one with Twin Katana that later Sepheroth possessed. He called Jenova "Mother" and called Cloud "Big Brother".

On my first playthrough of FF7 OG my memory card got corrupted around mid game and I stopped playing it because I was so pissed! 2 years later I played it again and finished it with all levels maxed and all the Ultima weapons and summons and all that. Also Tenchu was a great game, it needs a remake too.

  To add to that last bit what if while Glenn is talking about his son Cloud, which I think is likely, Sephiroth could simultaneously be talking about himself being the son and accomplishing hojos dream, not saying I think he cares about hojos ambitions but they do both share an interest in the reunion

  After Chapter 11, if you go back to Nibelheim and do the new sidequest you get from the cook in town. You get it after you finish the quest.

  It may be at first tad confusing but you will pick it up fast and easy :) First thing when you drop in - summon your support weapon. Open map, map nearest target. While moving around, watch for ? marks on the map, those are points of interest. At times they may be just caches of supplies, at times interact-able locations. Always grab any samples you come across, these are needed to upgrade your ship. From upgrades, get Eagle strikes first, they're fast and powerful (strafing run, cluster bombs, airstrike to start with and then others). There are also some orbitals which can be handy. Get some turrets unlocked, personally suggest to avoid machine gun one and go for gatling turret. Just remember - nothing there cares if you're in their line of fire, so your own turret will mow you down if you are between it and the target. But, you can keep in mind that turrets have 73 meters range, so you can throw them to the side of you, so that it has a direct view at enemies but is not behind you and let it rip. Holes with orange light and smoke are bug nests, grenade into it and they're closed. Bug breaches happen when bug patrols detect you and call in their own reinforcements, those are shown also with orange smoke but there's no hole to close. Simply eliminate all what comes at you and it'll go away. Yellow spiky light bulbs on ground are mines. Remember to use your stratagems, like orbital strike to take out many opponents at once or blow up bigger targets. And yes, you can kill the enemy if you drop a pod on their head. Just as it can kill you. Even your own ship can land on you and crush you. If you drop anything, accidentally or because of death, open map and you will see where these items are, can get back there and pick them up. Most important of course are samples. And, if you have any friends who play it too, get together with them, this game is by far more fun with a team (just keep in mind that while this is not a PvP game, there is friendly fire from anything, everything, everyone so watch out where those guns are pointed and where stratagems are thrown). If no friends are online at the time, head over to official Discord server, there are LFG channels. And most importantly, have fun :)
