  Had a BIG ONE......28 lbs Choco tortie...Friendly but would BITE the living sh** out of you while playing. He had a stick with a string on it...all time fav toy

  Do your Maine Coons eat like horses?? I swear, my girl would eat 10 times a day if I let her. And she's got the longest legs and furriest tail (last hairs on the tip are a good 4" long) I've ever seen. She's sweet, as expected, but she's also STUBBORN.And she doesn't run down the stairs; she hops - both front feet, then both back feet. She's so weird.

  We got ours from a shelter too and he had been returned twice the last time was bad. He was hiding at the shelter in the corner in a box. Hard to do for a Maine Coon cuz they are not small. He was pretty stressed so I left my hand in the cage and sat by him. 10min later he came out and sniffed at my hand. The girls at the shelter figured he was never going to be adopted. However now, 2 years later he exhibits ALL of the MC traits and is the sweetest cat we have ever had. He is black and such a handsome kitty. Very polite and so easy to get along with. We got him big litter boxes and he is much happier with them now. Apparently he is a MC cross but he weighs in at 16lbs and sure looks like a MC. Bonus is he is an enthusiastic hunter. We live in an old house and mice have always been a problem. Not so much now. We have a front and back yard and oddly he stays in them although he could easily get under the fences. Lordy I hope he lives for a long time. We so enjoy this fella and he has stolen our hearts.

  The first one reminded me so much of my (now) angel baby, Buster aka Buster MaGoo. The only difference being my Buster was gray and white, but they are almost exact carbon copies aside from coloring. He was the tiniest little kitten and grew to be this big cuddle ball of fur. Oh how I miss him as well as my other fur babies who passed over the rainbow bridge. For as big as he 2as (and he was a big boy) he was just the sweetest mush ball. 💜

  So sorry you lost him and the others too 😓. How old was Buster? The 1st cat in the video is now 13, so hoping he makes it to 20 😺

  I had two Maine Coons, brother and sister, they have past away. They were so beautiful, I will always miss them. Great company, greeted me at the door every evening.

  I had a Maine Coon mix that loved to be vacuumed. He'd hear the vac and chase it down to get a vac rub.
