  Hello! If you are inverting the plates on the bench and leaving them open and inverted, then it will be about 20 minutes. Do not invert until they are set. If using a hood, invert over the lids and don’t go beyond 10 minutes with air flow or they will dry too much. These are only guidelines. You will need to gauge the timing for each method by how long your preparation takes. Please let us know if you have any more questions!

  Hi, does this use similar primers in Salmonella LAMP assays? Does it have 4-6 primers (e.g., FIP, BIP, etc.)?

  @@NeogenCorp Thanks for this! I'm just curious as to how it differs with LAMP. ANSR is based on creating nicks right? while LAMP creates loops for amplification.

  @@prdneri The ANSR method differs from LAMP because it is based on a nicking enzyme amplification reaction. The target is amplified by polymerization from the ends of the nicks by a specific endonuclease

  The Prozap ProMist’r II dispenser is designed with a light sensor. This light sensor detects light which is considered “day time”, and dark which is considered “night time”. Depending when you want the dispenser to operate, will depend as to whether you choose to select day/night.

  On the subcutaneous level using the stab method, is the 5/8" or 1/2" just for adult cattle or can it be used on calves too?

  Hello! Both technique and needle selection are important for the proper administration of any injection. A ½” or 5/8” needle length would be appropriate to administer a subcutaneous injection to either calves or adult cattle as this is directly aligned with the Beef Quality Assurance recommendations of a ½” or ¾”. In addition, the technique utilized in administering the injection will also be important to ensure proper placement within the subcutaneous tissue. The depth of needle penetration within the tissue will vary based on the age and size of the animal. Therefore, with regard to technique, the angle of needle entry must be appropriate to accommodate the age and size of the animal to achieve proper placement in the subcutaneous tissue. Please consult your veterinarian for specific recommendations.
