What was your objective? Get the cable in and you did just that. But it's dangerous; the time saved also could have been spent in the hospital then court room, them litigation, then court again with horny wives and the ultimate losing your business. Try to use more conventional method and tools. Plus you will train yourself with more understanding of modern tools and equipment. The size cable you were pulling only required a small portable puller; the cable most have cost more than the puller.

@paitis14 LMAO. My thoughts exactly brother. Good lord. What is that a broom handle the pulley is on LOL. Doesn't even span the enclosure. Pulley not wide enough to allow the set to go over it. An ATV axle for power, sneakers on the job site, no provisions to protect the conductors once the nose came out. Holy God. At least I know my job is safe. These are the whitest Mexicans I have ever seen.

I don't know if it's too late but you could also consider using the Portable Capstan WInches (either the PCW5000 or PCH1000). You can see these products by typing PCw5000 or PCH1000 on KZread.

there isn't much that could go wrong if the ATV came off the stand the pull line is routed to the hitch then to the capstan on the wheel it would drop and with the low rpm probably go nowhere but if it did a snail could catch it and if any thing snared in the capstan it would bog the motor down till it died very easily

you might save 20 mins of man time but when someone gets hurt and your insurance rates go up it wont be worth it then.

that cant handle any kind of load.. i can see the wire hanging up on something and pulling the quad off those stands. and which way are the wheels turning?? forward wich means the operator will get his shins taken out by the capstan. take the time to do it right and safe by bolting down a tugger.

geeze take it easy. it just seems a little fast. i heard some-one say 4mph. using a traditional tugger is alot slower and controlled. didnt mean to "personally attack" anyone. sorry

stupid way of doing it. somebody will get hurt using that. just goes to show how nonunion shops work. scabs.
