Comics, Star Wars, Pop Culture, Video games, and Toys. I love it all; and my collection of video content celebrates them all. I try to provide useful information to the comic collecting community to help you on your own hunting trips.
Lists and Apps are useful, but can be impractical at times when digging among a crowd squeezed between boxes and boxes of books. The best tools you have are your own eyes and your memory. So let me help you expand your mental Rolodex and give you tips on things to look out for when you are out there digging and have to make decisions on the fly. That digger next to you is not gonna wait for your internet connection, so better to expand your own personal knowledge base.

Villalobos Zatanna for me... that cover is suoicilytooB!
@@patrickmel8728 I actually second guessed that pick during filming of the Wed Watch List as the Szerdy started winning me over with all the pulp poster tidbits

Marco trying to speak Korean "Si, si!" is probably the greatest moment in the history of youtube! 🤣🤣🤣
1:11:02 He doesn't do a ton of covers cuz he's dead lol
This is probrably the most informative episode of SNS I've seen yet! I honestly enjoyed James talking about how exclusives work and the info about cons during the sdcc news.
Glen Orbik passed away in 2015. He was a real talent. I used to own a comic store near him and he had flyers for art classes he taught at a nearby college he gave me to put in the store.
Yup, gotta agree anything Brubaker bring it. All the Indie stuff( Kill or be Killed probably one of the best reads ever). Plus The Marvels Project from 2010 is also pretty damn good.
10:40 funny for you?

Honestly, I see the heat on “X-Force Vol. 1 #1” as a win for long-time collectors. If MCU collectors really want it, and are willing to pay a premium, cool. And if it helps a long-time collector, who might have a hundred copies that they could sell to finance another book they really wanted but didn’t have the funds, cool too. Just as long as sellers are honest with potential buyers. Giancarlo is NOT officially confirmed as “G.W.” Bridge. It’s strictly a rumor put out by “scooper” MyTimeToShineHello, who doesn’t have a great track for accuracy (bad claims like “Clarke as Veranke in Secret Invasion”, “Terrax as Galactus’ Herald in the upcoming F.F. film”, “Ghost Rider getting a Halloween Special Presentation in 2023” and most recently flip-flopping about Hulk showing up in “Deadpool & Wolverine”, where they swore up and down he wasn’t even getting so much as a mention, and then the recent fan-screenings proved otherwise and suddenly MTTSH is suddenly saying “Oh yeah, Hulk’s in there”.
@@TTCampusComicsCollectibles I don't know who mytimetoshine is but I got that story from comicbookmovie.com as shown on the slide and admit it's a rumor. But Im only recommending taking shots on rumors for a book you find in a cheap box or dollar bin. This is not recommending anyone "invest" in rumors. I hear what you are saying and agree that it's dangerous when people take rumors as facts. But that's not the point of this series. Im simply pointing out books you can hunt for cheap and for fun. 🍻
The Overstreet Price Guide from 1981 had an LB Cole cover and an article about the man. As a 13 yr old novice collector, I had yet to see any real Golden Age out in the wild yet (having not gone to a convention yet). I find it pretty interesting that Golden Age artists like Cole, Matt Baker, Alex Schomburg, etc, STILL have followers and Golden Age still has powerful sales even though most of the hardcore GA collectors from that period have likely all passed. The collecting community was speculating years ago that by the 2000s, there would be no true nostalgia for Golden Age comics since the people who bought them as kids would all be gone.
Damn this TAC was stacked! Nice seeing some of the other boys join in. Great show
Nice video. G.W. bridge is a decent character...not really going to excite normies tho
Yeah, but normies got attached to Coulson and he didn't even have a comic counterpart at 1st so you never know. The real problem is that there are a million copies of that book out there
@@Rennavision good pt
